Good morning,Is there an way i can email my 6 years school without sounding like a grade A *head?
I changed my daughter's surname in the midst of applying for primary schools, so on the original forms she still had dad's surname. Once she got into the primary school she had my surname (by legal deed poll), so on all her school forms/books she has new surname. She only knows herself as new surname. The school uses an app for everyday updates but this was registered under her old surname. Daughter likes to see "her points" on the app which causes questions on " why I am x previous surname?" Which is too complicated to explain due to her age. How can I politely ask that the new surname is changed on the app? Dad died by suicide, daughter is aware of dad's first name but not surname as he wasn't the best person so id like her to learn the best of him (i do this for her, not him) as, if she was to google his full name then not great stories would come up (she wouldnt do this at this age but the longer I can keep her "innocent" i feel would be better for her) So how do I ask this is changed if possible? Without sounding like an AI bot?

Sorry I meant by showing the new meter readings. They will realise the leak has been sorted and you'll get some money back. They do this once in a lifetime I think.Oh we just fixed it ourselves if was just a valve that needed changing

Ask now, Then if it's not going to be possible for people to swap, you have plenty of time to come up with an alternative plan. Can't you just book annual leave?This is a problem for a while away but I need time off work next January for my granddad's special birthday. With how my shifts work I need to swap to days to have them off. Do you think it's too early to ask the people I could swap with now? Should I wait a few months

Tonight we were watching a Christmas movie all laid out on the sofa as a family, my 7 year old son moved to lay down on top of me and asked if he’d hurt me with his elbow, (he commonly leans to get up and I’m usually what he leans on) I said no, he then lightly whacked me with an open palm and asked if that hurt, I said no and asked why he was doing that, he didn’t answer and settled down. About 20 mins later he did it again across my throat but this time really hard, I answered that it DID hurt, and he said under his breath “yesssss!” with a huge grin. I paused the film, asked what the fuck was going on, why did he hurt me and enjoy it, and he couldn’t give me an answer. His dad took him up to bed to let me calm down.
I’m still really freaked out about it, my kid is very sweet and cuddly but seeing him actively enjoy hurting me is burned into my brain and I’m sat here staring at his Christmas presents I need to wrap and I can’t bring myself to do it, I want to refund it all and buy him therapy because clearly I’m doing some vastly wrong.
Is this a normal thing? Am I raising a psychopath? Where the fuck has my sweet child gone?
Because dad died when she was around 18 months, due to backlog of covid. Inquest was later than should have been, meaning actual death certificate etc. Was later than should have been so she only known herself as new surname. New surname was used around her before it became legal. Couldn't get deed poll until official death certificate, and even after that it took time for myself to come round to things.I really don't understand this. That's good to know as I was actually also looking the other day at fit flops WORK+ High-Performance Professional Clogs. I‘ve been buying Brooks running shoes for a good 15 years and always found them to be really long lasting. I think I’ve had my current pair for four years but admittedly I don’t use them for running, just gym. I guess it all depends if the reviews you are reading are from runners who like to retire their shoes after X amount of miles when they're supposed to be no good for running any more. Mine become dog walking shoes / general trainers once they're no good for running - I literally wearing them through to the next layer of sole before I give up on them! Having said that, some I see for sale on Vinted look absolutely trashed with massive holes in the upper (why are you selling them not putting them in the bin?) whereas mine never look like that even when the soles are dead.The thing that put me off the brooks is a lot saying they didn't last very long?
