Teeth in Turkey

Has anyone on here travelled to Turkey to get their teeth done?
I’ve wanted my teeth done for years, but despite having a couple of UK consultations the price Has always put me off. I have always thought of better things to spend £8k on.
The Turkish dentists have great reviews and are a fraction of the price. I just wanted to hear some honest “real life” experiences because of something sounds too good to be true it often is. How can they do a quality job so cheap, what’s the catch?

My father in law did He got dental implants. He hasn't had any problems. They have a holiday home in Turkey so he probably had an idea of the reputation of the dentist beforehand.

Yes I have and they are brilliant and a third of the price. I went to Sevil Smile Studio in Antyala and i would HIGHLY recommend!

I know a lot of people who have had them done in Budapest with no trouble.

I suppose I'm biased because I'm a dentist but I couldn't stress how strongly I would advise against going abroad. I've seen such a spectrum of cases, some good but some terrible. Like everywhere, there's good and bad dentistry but the main thing to factor in is if it goes wrong, it can go very wrong. Most big aesthetic cases can be hard to maintain and if anything did go wrong, can be very difficult to fix, and certainly wouldn't be corrected on the NHS. I always advise factoring in the cost of returning a few times. Like everything, do your research. I know most people have their mind made up but it's always good to think about the what ifs. Good luck and do what's right for you.

My partner had his done last October at smile dental turkey he absolutely loves them I’m jealous they look amazing worry about the refit in 10 years time live for today!
