I got 2 rubbish football tattoos when I was 18. I regret them so bad. Covering them up . Found a good tattooist she's fully booked until August though. I got a football badge on my calf and getting a galaxy/space to cover. What would people say the going rate for a tattoo was right now?
Got a few family members always getting tattoos, usually they are around £70 to £85 for the smaller ones with larger being into the £100 to £150
Think it depends on size an the place really but overall your probably looking between £75 an £100ish, it isn't cheap, also covering up tattoos could change the price making it more expensive all together since its going be more work than just picking one an it being done on skin free of anything else

I have a tattoo question. I'm getting my first colour tattoo soon wondering what colours people find best for tattoos? I was thinking a lilac/light purple colour

I’ve got light purple and pink on a tattoo I got when I was 18 (I’m 35 now) and you can still see the colours. They’ve obviously faded in brightness but you can still tell what they are, the purple more than the pink.
My husband is covered in old traditional type tattoos and I’d the colours that’s faded the most on his are yellow and orange.
I had one done a few weeks ago that has a very tiny Woodstock in it (snoopy's mate) and he's yellow. My tattooist did him a slightly darker yellow than he really is to take into account fading.
Best advice for any tattoo, but especially colourful ones is 'ALWAYS wear sunscreen'.
