Definitely seems like there was something going on there, the amount of times she’s mentioned needing permission etc. I wonder if whatever she was going on about the other day, how she said it was like an episode of Jerry springer - I wonder if that involves her family at all.It could have been him trying to dictate, not that he would be any better on the piss look at what we’ve seen from him
Did you see those slides the other day, she mentioned again about not having to ask permission to see her family. I’m not sure the context, why would she be asking his permission when they were together, surely he would have liked her to go the the kids so he could be at home along

She posted these slides and then she got accused of romanticizing divorce, which I can understand why people see it that way, the fact is that she’s hidden the awful parts of her marriage & what Nick was really like, so people don’t get why she would leave.

I wonder if he wanted to always be out so he would say you have to stay with the kids. After being worn down so much by him she likely lost any confidence in herself so likely had to ask permission because he was never home to be with his family. Hence asking permission.
I bet he was the sort to not come home directly from work, call into the pub with the blokes so she started taking up all her own hobbies and sticking it to him to be doing things with the kids, after they started the marriage counseling he stopped working Thursdays and she was able to go do her own stuff and he had to stay there to parent, I’m not sure that lasted long, but I think she did try to implement things in the marriage to help it move forward, like the date nights & things, but clearly he did some tit that they couldn’t work past.
No doubt she has faults, she’s became very self obsessed, doing the beauty and health tit, but probably was a self coping mechanism while putting up with him.
I think she started trying to change her appearance because she lacked any self confidence because of him. I think she did a lot to please him to make it work. I think a lot of complaints on here aren’t valid and seem so petty towards her when he cops NOTHING and should get all of it for tearing her down so bad to make her feel to negative about herself. She does do some questionable tit though and that’s valid. But I think post separation judgement is harsh because he obviously ducked her up a bit
“ask permission” is a very strange way to word things. She’s definitely trying to indicate what went on without actually saying it. I think old mate was a lot more controlling then we realised

Her " old" self wasn't that great. Do you remember her on the Batchelor and then Love Island? She was very unlikeable.
I actually really liked her on the bachelor, I feel she was a bit of a fan favourite too. I didn’t watch the spin off where she got engaged though. Maybe an unpopular opinion and im not saying she has maintained this popularity or likability (obviously she hasn’t), but back then when we didn’t really see the “real” her and it was just edited snippets and she was a side character she came across pretty well.
I did like her, I also liked her when she became a Mum, she was normal, she didn’t hide the messy / yuck bits of parenting, she just told it how it was & filmed funny reels and stories, I lost interest when the self absorbed Tara came to be, all the grifting, beauty, wellness appointments lost me.
