Yeh what a waste! I’m all for drinking too much but there’s a time and a place. Take That shows usually have a family vibe but last night felt like Nottingham’s ‘finest’ let out of the house and introduced to alcohol for the first time. Such a shame!I have seen so many bands in my time and I’ve seen Take That a few times now and that was by far the worst gig I’ve been too for people throwing up/being too drunk etc. I’m all for everyone having a good time I’m not a party pooper but so many people were being removed by stewards or dragged out to sit down it just seems pointless. Maybe I’m showing my age but why spend £80 plus on a ticket to not see all the show or remember it.
We must have hit lucky on the pitch as we were stood near a couple of lovely families - teens and parents just out to see Olly and TT and have fun. We were about 6 rows back in front of the B-stage so had a good view of the main stage in the background too (well, except one of the families was very tall people, but as they were nice I'll forgive that!).Yeh what a waste! Don't be dissing MarkTake that need to retire and spend their millions! The brief clip of them I've seen of them Dad dancing on stage is laughable! The outfits they are wearing on stage look like Star Wars cast offs. Who on earth ever told Mark he can sing? He is way below your average Kareoke singer. No wonder Jason Orange and Robbie have done one!
Agreed! I can exploit a bottomless brunch with the best of them but not at a gig. If we’re going to get nit picky about it - Robbie is currently sat at home making strange Instagram posts and doing Felix adverts. Take That on the other hand are in the middle of a world tour. I know which position I would rather be in ! And if you have any knowledge at all (which you seem to think you have) then you would know that Take That’s tours do feature a lot of ‘costumes’ and the skirt over trousers is a throwback to one of their videosMark can't sing and has zero Charissma, his solo career sank like the Titanic! Stood on the stage in a joke costume with a skirt attached! Haha
Jason and Howard could dance and Robbie was the performer. Robbie went on and smashed it! Gary is the brains of the outfit but is dull AF!
I'm not a huge fan of Mark's voice... BUT I love all the songs he takes the lead on, especially on the new album. He just brings something to the songs that I can't put my finger on.I can’t take all the Mark disrespect! He has an amazing, truly unique and distinctive voice and Take That wouldn’t be the same without him. I love him to bits

He's better than he was in the early TT days. I still remember when he got his first solo on the song How Can It Be from the Million Love Songs EP...it was a hard listen.We must have hit lucky on the pitch as we were stood near a couple of lovely families - teens and parents just out to see Olly and TT and have fun. We were about 6 rows back in front of the B-stage so had a good view of the main stage in the background too (well, except one of the families was very tall people, but as they were nice I'll forgive that!).
We had a few drunk people try and push through us to get to the front, but I held my ground, used my elbows and told them to f++k off (shocked my teen!). No one pushes past me, we'd got in at 5.15, I was NOT losing my good spot!
My teen did see people with sneaky vodka/gin bottles that had evidently been snuck in, but it wasn't too near us
We had an amazing night, got some great photos and videos. Rule the World with the fireworks was amazing, as was Never Forget as always. Trying to get out of the stadium afterwards was an experience though
