Maoam pinballs yum
Even before covid I generally gave pick n mix a swerve, as I've seen kids stick their fingers in all the sweets.I do love a bag of jelly beans, I sometimes consider buying myself a pick n mix but then think of covid and change my mind. Chocolate wise I love anything Galaxy.
I prefer to make my own pick n mix by buying a few bags of my fav sweets and mix them together.Even before covid I generally gave pick n mix a swerve, as I've seen kids stick their fingers in all the sweets. But the last time I got it I stuck to the higher ones and generally went for the wrapped ones. I didn't get many but it came to nearly a fiver! Then when I ate them, a lot of them were stale - I guess once they stick them in the dispenser things they don't know the best before date. Never again!
Anyway to answer the question, my favourites are fruit sherbets, crispy M&Ms and Haribo Tangfastics.
omg a giant Kinder egg? That is a dream! Now this is my thread
I’m 30 and I don’t think I’ve ever gone a year without getting the big kinder egg at Easter. The chocolate is just so good. (the toy is a bonus)
Currently going through a Penguin/club milk/orange club milk phase. And any kind of mini egg. The lead up to Easter is always the best time of the year for chocolate![]()
You get meomg a giant Kinder egg? That is a dream!
I was just about to comment how i'm loving all of the Easter chocs at the moment. Had some of the fererro rocher mini eggs the other day, absolutely incredible.
You should try the terrys chocolate orange with mini eggs in if you haven't already - orange plus mini eggs sounds right up your street!
omg the bit in the end is the best! they should sell bags of just thoseI absolutely love skittles. All the flavours and varieties I just love them
My absolute fav sweets are the blue and pink fizzy bottles though, I just can't get enough of them. I love fizzy sweets in general tbh, fizzy rainbow belts, tangfastics just give me them all

Terrys chocolate orange is my favourite chocolate. I love the bit in the centre you get right at the end![]()

ughhh they were so good. Back in the days when we were actually allowed chocolate at lunch from the school canteen (before it all got banned, thanks Jamie OliverYou just unlocked a core memory. I loved them!
Dairy Milk Tasters were great too.
I saw a Fererro Rocher one the other day which looked amazing! But for me, can't beat a good old Cadbury egg (maybe mini eggs or Twirl)So which Easter egg (if any) are you all going to get this year?
I'm always so tempted to buy one but I end up eating the bars/sweets that come with and get bored of the egg itself! So which Easter egg (if any) are you all going to get this year?
I got my son an orange Smarties egg last year and the egg was choc orange flavour instead of plain. I’m sure there are other eggs with textures in them too.I'm always so tempted to buy one but I end up eating the bars/sweets that come with and get bored of the egg itself!
Are there any good ones where the eggs have flavour/texture?
I used to work in a Thorntons as a teenager many moons ago. I got a 25% discount at the time and used to get all my Easter and Christmas themed chocolate from there. Viennese Truffles and Sicilian Lemon Mousse were my faves. Also loved the Choc covered toffee bagsLast year I got the massive Cadbury fruit and nut egg, that was dreamy as the egg had raisins and nuts in it. When I was a child and Thorntons was the epitome of posh I used to love the viennese truffles and alpini chocolates from the counter for a special treat. They also used to do these giant Easter eggs in a basket that my cousin used to get with crunchy bits of toffee in them, they were amazing.
I'm a big fan of a peppermint aero which I thought was standard but seemed a bit controversial after a discussion with friends the other day. I like all sorts and it depends on my mood but the new-ish white Ferrero bar is bloody amazing.
I think some of the Lindor eggs are flavored.I'm always so tempted to buy one but I end up eating the bars/sweets that come with and get bored of the egg itself!

the giant Cadbury eggs have texture - my partner got me a Daim one a few years ago, and it was just a giant chocolate egg with bits of daim in it. I think they do a whole nut one too. So tastyI'm always so tempted to buy one but I end up eating the bars/sweets that come with and get bored of the egg itself!
