I’m obsessed with chocolate raisins at the minute! In my head, they’re healthy! 😂

Cake wise, I could honestly finish a sainsburys chocolate swiss roll by myself in a couple days (and they're not small 🤣) and I do love a bit of angel cake!
omg yes! I forgot about their swiss rolls. I'm quite picky when it comes to swiss rolls (such a connoisseur haha) but theirs is elite.

Although the absolute top tier cake/sweet/chocolate roll is the chocolate roulade from Cook. It's expensive, but oh my goodness it is the tastiest thing. I get it for Christmas every year and end up eating most of it by myself.
---
Ooh thanks I'll look out for them!

You know what I really love? Pick n Mix!
White mice, white jazzies, vanilla fudge, jelly teeth & lips and the blue & pink fizzy cola bottles 😋
Yessss pick n mix! I haven't had any in ages cos I always see people dipping their hands in to select their sweets :)sick:) but maybe i'll have to go to one of those 'ye olde sweet shops' you see in tourist towns. white mice and strawberry bonbons were always my faves!
---
I love the M&S biscakes and yumnuts, usually pick some up from the bakery 😋

Used to love a Greggs cake but their selection are shite these days. Apple turnover or a chocolate eclair. I also love a cream slice - the cream cake selection from Sainsbury’s is good. I usually pick some up to take to my nana when I visit ❤
Morrisons have a really good bakery section! Their cream slices and turnovers are really tasty, and always on some sort of offer.

Sorry for all the quotes in one post, i'm just too excited by all the sweet treats! Although it's making me so hungry

I'm always so tempted to buy one but I end up eating the bars/sweets that come with and get bored of the egg itself!

Are there any good ones where the eggs have flavour/texture?
the giant Cadbury eggs have texture - my partner got me a Daim one a few years ago, and it was just a giant chocolate egg with bits of daim in it. I think they do a whole nut one too. So tasty

The supermarket own eggs are usually pretty good for flavours/textures too - I saw Sainsburys had a tiramisu one and a sticky toffee pudding one the other day, and i've seen white chocolate with freeze-dried raspberry bits in before too.

Sainsbury’s, they were near the front of the store, not with all the other chocolate. Think I’m gonna have to do an online shop instead of Aldi and stock up!
I’ve just checked and our Asda stock them so guess what’s going in my online shop this weekend 😂

You neeeeed to try the kinder bueno mini eggs. I found them in my local Tesco, they are so good!!
Right, favourite cakes and biscuits please? As if I don’t have enough indulgence in my life, I would like more haha. My faves atm are the Waitrose almond croissants, they are so good.

You just unlocked a core memory. I loved them!

Dairy Milk Tasters were great too.
ughhh they were so good. Back in the days when we were actually allowed chocolate at lunch from the school canteen (before it all got banned, thanks Jamie Oliver )

So which Easter egg (if any) are you all going to get this year?
I saw a Fererro Rocher one the other day which looked amazing! But for me, can't beat a good old Cadbury egg (maybe mini eggs or Twirl)

These things. I get them in the corner shop. They are amazing. You get loads in the bag and they’re about £2.50. They’re kinda like kitkats, but the chocolate is much nicer and they’re not as hard/dry. They almost melt in your mouth but you can still bite into them.

Now this is my thread 😍

I’m 30 and I don’t think I’ve ever gone a year without getting the big kinder egg at Easter. The chocolate is just so good. (the toy is a bonus)

Currently going through a Penguin/club milk/orange club milk phase. And any kind of mini egg. The lead up to Easter is always the best time of the year for chocolate ❤
omg a giant Kinder egg? That is a dream!

I was just about to comment how i'm loving all of the Easter chocs at the moment. Had some of the fererro rocher mini eggs the other day, absolutely incredible.

You should try the terrys chocolate orange with mini eggs in if you haven't already - orange plus mini eggs sounds right up your street!

I've got a Terry's chocolate orange Easter egg this year. Is it just me or is there not a big range of choice this year?

Last year I got the massive Cadbury fruit and nut egg, that was dreamy as the egg had raisins and nuts in it. When I was a child and Thorntons was the epitome of posh I used to love the viennese truffles and alpini chocolates from the counter for a special treat. They also used to do these giant Easter eggs in a basket that my cousin used to get with crunchy bits of toffee in them, they were amazing.

I'm a big fan of a peppermint aero which I thought was standard but seemed a bit controversial after a discussion with friends the other day. I like all sorts and it depends on my mood but the new-ish white Ferrero bar is bloody amazing.

I absolutely love skittles. All the flavours and varieties I just love them 😂
My absolute fav sweets are the blue and pink fizzy bottles though, I just can't get enough of them. I love fizzy sweets in general tbh, fizzy rainbow belts, tangfastics just give me them all

Terrys chocolate orange is my favourite chocolate. I love the bit in the centre you get right at the end 😂

oooh i've had a few Kinder Happy Hippo phases. Which ones do you prefer - cocoa or hazelnut?
Anything Kinder is incredible. I found some Kinder Bueno mini eggs the other day and they were SO good - quite pricey but definitely worth it.
it's a close one but I'd have to say hazelnut!

My sweet tooth is a problem :ROFLMAO: always going down the sweet aisle to check out new stuff and treating myself
