When I come back and do the two day test, do I have to isolate until I get the result? I assume I do but I don’t see that anywhere

I‘d print them just to be sure! Was told my German vaccine passport would be accepted in Spain but the hotel didn‘t. Was very glad to have all my documents in every possible form with me!

I've booked to go to Croatia on a solo trip beginning of September. Booked a self catering apartment in Cavtat for a week. All the PCR testing seems like a right pain in the arse for only a week though, I'm hoping the pre-departure testing requirement is removed at least, especially as Croatia don't even need a test for double vaccinated visitors.

Can you go in term time? Everything is so much cheaper in September.
We’re going end of August it was a third cheaper than mid August (due to Scottish kids being back at school)

Hey guys, not sure if anyone can help me here, but I came back from Dubai last week and I did all the tests and everything, my day 2 test was negative (I am double vaccinated).
but the track and trace number keep calling me (the 0300 013 5000). They rang me like 4 times this morning, but when I answer there is nothing. No talking, literally silence. I’m really confused
I read online this number can be copied by scammers
and recently I got these texts which I believe are scams - saying that I need to isolate immediately and sent me a link to put in personal details (I didn’t click the link, it just tells me the link will ask me to put in personal details). I know it’s a scam because they spelled my first and last name wrong LOL
what should I do should I contact track and trace? Do nothing?

I haven’t explored a postponement yet; don’t see the point this far ahead. However, our 2020 holiday (also with Tui) was cancelled and we got a full refund within 10 days so I’m not concerned from a financial perspective if it doesn’t go ahead. in my mind it’s happening so
I’m looking forward to it; in my mind I could die crossing the road or get cancer next week, so fuck it I’m ready for a bloody holiday!

Not summer but where do people recommend to go in december? Probably for 10 days abroad from the UK. I’d prefer it hot. I was looking at Jordan as it’s one of my top 3 places I want to go but I think it’ll be too cold in december.

I want to go to Kenya, but I don't even know what is going on there atm. I'm hearing the cases are low, but also they aren't able to track people who have the virus so I'm not sure of the true numbers.
There are tests that you can take with you and all you do is upload a picture of the negative test once you've done it to generate a certificate.

Yeah I guess it’s not a legal thing but an in house policy. They say if we go we have to isolate 10days regardless of where we go as it can mess up a lot if we end up having to isolate/get covid/pass it on at work. We can’t work from home at all and most can only have 2 weeks off at once. I think they’ll change it soon as people are wanting to go away obviously.
