Sorry to hijack but Kerry and Natasha were unkind to Liz in the begging of AK, she was quieter and less in your face than they were and she felt left out. Liz has always struck me as being the only ‘normal’ one out of that lot. As for them being jealous of Kerry for ‘bagging’ Bryan McFadden, well he was hardly a catch. He was always the chubby one in Westlife.

yeah I like Liz, can imagine her being left out actually as the other two were/are a bit wild. Liz looks a kind gentle soul and was more about singing than chasing fame.

Wasn't Heidi in a very early version of atomic kitten I remember reading years ago?

yep but before they released any singles, she left/was dropped as she was a bit too young at the time compared to the other girls (2 years age difference is a lot if you’re 16 and they’re 18 I suppose) . She used to work in a restaurant/ bar in Liverpool called the Pan Am in between both groups.

Yes! Amy guested on her track B Boy Baby!
I have to admit, I really love Mutya’s style and I think she’s got such a gorgeous voice.
I‘d forgotten how much I missed her vocals until I heard this song she uploaded the other day, it’s a cover of Damage by H.E.R.
Also her song with Groove Armada (Song 4 Mutya) still sounds fab!

I loved the original group, because their voices blended together so well. You can still hear it on Flatline, even though they've all grown up. It's a shame their reunion didn't pan out, but not many people will remember their original incarnation, so it's not really surprising. That said, I HATED Heidi's voice. It wasn't soulful and was much more mainstream.

My friend (in my teens) knew Keisha growing up and in the first few years of the Sugababes, and said she was really nasty. It stayed with me. I know they were teens, but I do get the impression that she wasn't kind to Heidi, Amelle, Jade etc etc I found it amusing that she was all for booting out various members, until she was the one nobody wanted...

Mutya seems a bit rough around the edges these days. Is there any update on her bum implants? I last saw her on Celebs go dating I think it was.

Loved Song 4 Mutya! Just found it on YouTube and it's 13 years old! Fuck I'm getting old!

Sugababes (all lineups) had some great songs which really stand the test of time. Take the Spice Girls or Girls Aloud and the like and quite a lot of their stuff sounds very much of its time but much of Sugababes back catalogue still feels really fresh.

I still listen to it, it definitely doesn’t get the credit it deserves.

I love the way Mutya had to deny that these lines were about Amelle

Sat there with some new girl, what is this?
That's who has replaced me, what a diss

i enjoyed sugababes till mutya left. keisha to me had the most ANNOYING singing voice, was like nails on a board, so when mutya left the music did nothing for me.

I loved siobhan and mutta’s solo stuff.

I knew a girl who grew up in the same area and said she (keisha) used to beat up other girls in the local park

Overloaded is wall to wall bangers (apart from Shape, which is meh) but no word of a lie, the last time I listened to Ugly it kind of brought a tear to my eye I know it’s corny and a bit too wholesome (and a rip off of TLC’s Unpretty) but it made me think of my daughter approaching her tweens and the lessons I want to teach her.
