Didn't like to come on here and say that, but as you have said it ....... agree with you.Maybe it’s the quality of the recording, but if I’d paid London theatre prices I’d be very disappointed to get that vocal performance. It’s really not professional, West End standard.
I get that’s he’s a stunt casting and people are going to see ‘him’ so will probably mostly not care that much about the singing, but it’s shameful to be charging £100-200 for a decent seat for a musical where one of the ‘stars’ isn’t up scratch with the vocals.
Not sure about the legs either, they do look very manly which he cannot help, very muscley, similar with the arms. Dancing in heels and the movement are not totally like a female would move, La Voix has this down very well and was believable as a woman.
Jo Jo is an elegant male dancer, diversifying doesn't always work.
