I was out last night so catching up now but I feel like we’re really missing a good ringer this year. There’s no one delivering a Layton/Amber/Lewis/Maisie level of dance and I miss those, you know they’ll never win but they are so entertaining especially at this stage when everyone is still a bit hit and miss

I think there's a couple of people who were clearly cast to be ringers but are in fact rit.

I should think after this week, pretty much everyone apart from Tabby is really down and wondering why they signed up for this.Delta looked in pain and not sure how she is going to cope with other dances going forward.Still maybe Halloween week will cheer them up🙄

I didn't actually see the first part last night, tuned in just as Will and Dianne were almost finished their dance. Now let it go please. Yes, they both have babies. Right. We get it. No more baby talk or baby themed dances please. Ever again, on this or future shows. Thanks.

I was listening to Oti’s live before the show and she did mention as pro the most vulnerable times were always the weeks after big theme weeks because for some reason there’s basically a come down and the quality always dips. She said those were the times she was most nervous because there was always a shock elimination. & Post Blackpool is the worst for it.

I certainly felt it this week after being so surprised by the standard last week. Everyone can hide behind a character for Halloween and I’m sure scores will be inflated once again

I have always said - I love the ringers. I was delighted when Amber took part last year, also because it meant Nikita was back in the show and they had some great performances. Layton and Nikita stole the show for me, their year, in the best possible way. I used to look forward to seeing them and have gone back and watched some of their dances more than once. Similarly Lewis and Katya, their couples choice was just FAB-U-LOUS. Have watched many times since.

One thing I did like about last night was no stupid wigs and horrible costumes. 😁 Some of them were really awful, last week.

why do they want to do this? this feels like an manipulated way to boot the least favourite of the judge (lawrence) out for me. especially unfair who lands at the bottom of the leaderboard as they probs won’t be able to escape the dance off at all
SCD turning into the X Factor, the rules are there are no rules.
Huge irony in that the twist appears after we’ve heard at least three of the judges more or less saying they’re pissed with the public saving those THEY didn’t want to go.

However three couples in the dance off might work if only one couple is eliminated - it allows the judges to eliminate the weakest celeb who might otherwise be saved by the public vote and save celebs who are performing well but not, at this point, pulling in the public vote. That’s why they’re doing this.

In other news .. the storm has taken out Dave Thorpe’s electronic communications and they won’t be back until Tuesday. There are a plethora of suspects. 😜

[this bottom 3 thing is unnecessary. Especially with Shaun gone. I feel everyone will leave in their natural order from here on in anyway. Bethany is mid and she has weak public vote. Jamie probably deserves to stay a bit longer but she’s not that good so if she were to leave around now it would also be fair.]

Chas speaks my brains.

I really don’t know how Delta goes forward now as apart from the waltz everything is so physical. Especially a show dance which gets everything but the kitchen sink thrown at it.

I think next to go really should be Lawrence. It won’t be due to the Emmerdale fanbase, but he’s definitely the worst dancer left now.

I can’t believe we are not down to the final 10 yet?? It felt like this week should’ve been it. How many more to go jesus. I feel like there are a few middlers just taking up time and making this thing drag (Dani, Bethany, Lawrence) who haven’t really shown me they can be excellent at this stage. Jamie atleast had her Paso last week.
