This is the woman who seemed to go an entire series without saying anything positive to Emma Barton. At times she was flaming vicious.

She got some backlash - eventually - for the way she spoke to Emma Barton, and then had to try to be slightly more civil towards her. Yet Shirley never understands apparently, why people are sometimes less than kind online to her, personally.

Shaun was lovely on ITT last night, as was Alexis, and I enjoyed the panel, especially Flavia.

I saw a post on Reddit saying, apparently in all seriousness, that 'it was sweet' of Vito to take the blame for the routine being over syncopated, (according to Shirley).

Well um, the pro puts the thing together and teaches it to the celeb, who then dances it, in the way they were taught. It's a topic I have been known to harp on about here. I can't stand it when the judges appear to blame the celeb, in relation to a routine. Not as regards mistakes obviously, but I presume Lacey danced that as she was taught by Vito.

I have read comments and indeed I think the panel on ITT said Vito puts the kitchen sink and all into routines. So again, that's on him.

This with bells and whistles! Couldn’t agree more! They’re contestants learning to dance, not professionals. Shirley and Anton need to remember this! Jamie looked utterly crushed having just told Emma how much she’d enjoyed dancing, then they tore her down and stamped on her!
Shirley is now making the creepy shoes her whole thing. For years they’ve kind of floated under the radar, not much fuss but now she’s really pushing them as her ‘thing’. On the flight to DWTS she brings them out of her bag, saying she hopes they’re ready for the shoes!
I felt Saturday’s show was really not enjoyable, too much nastiness considering its a Saturday night entertainment show!

I reckon for Halloween they should have the creepy little shoes hop off the desk and run about on the dancefloor

The Laughing Donkey have posted a TikTok of Lacey and Vito at the POB awards. They have used Waiting for a Girl Like You to play over it. It basically is just them walking down the red carpet and then when they left, which is what always happens with the pros and their celebs.
However it has led to one or two comments about Lacey having fallen for Vito. Another response was She is very happily married to her childhood sweetheart ….. IT’S VITO WHO HAS FALLEN FOR HER ….. LISTEN TO THE SONG …. AND THE WAY HE LOOKS AT HER TOO. I think the paps are being very disingenuous when they do this, and anything less likely I cannot think of. But I guess Vito's g/f might have to make an appearance.

Agreed! It is such a bugbear of mine. I do think that Vito needs to apply that whole “take off the last accessory you put on” rule to his routines with Lacey .

Agreed, I don't think it makes any sense for her to be a guest judge this week. I do wonder if it will make her stricter on those that are doing the standard dances though since that's where she knows what she's talking about, not jazz or contemporary.

Cach's dance was a car crash. Totally out of sync with zero cha cha content. At least Shaun and Lawrence are trying to perform the prescribed dance style. Cach just does his own thing. And it's not a modern take on ballroom dancing. It's just chaos.

Cach dancing reminds me of the dad on Strictly Ballroom ..he's Doug Hastings going rogue on the ballroom

But just popping in to share my tuppence! Wondering if I'm alone in my musings?

So Tabby is my winner, I love her. From her first dance I was blown away! And couldn't fathom why the judges weren't singing her praises week 1?!!

I also love Lawrence (ok yeh cos he's hot) but he seems sweet and he is trying.. why are the judges so damn mean to him?!! Feels like he's the Nigel of this year 🥲

Dani, Jaime and Lacey are all so interchangeable to me.

Delta is awesome and I really hope she doesn't have to bail out completely due to her injury!

Cach is... Forgettable. I'm a Love island girly so I know of him but goodness he's dull in'he!

Oh and agree with majority re the presenters, wtf were the producers on, settling on this arrangement 🫪
