Stopped mini pill on Thursday last had sex on Wednesday, could I get pregnant?

I’m really quite worried. I had sex on Wednesday and took my mini-pill at 3pm that day. I decided that after 8 months of terrible side effects, i would stop taking it and use condoms until I found a better method. But from research apparently sperm can live in the body for 5 days so if I stopped taking the mini-pill on Thursday, could I get pregnant from Wednesday morning’s shenanigans or will I be protected.
Please help. Thank you in advance.

Yes you could, as the pill will have been ineffective from the Thursday. I don’t know what your chances could be though

Yes it is possible. You can take the EllaOne morning after pill or have an IUD fitted to try to prevent an unwanted pregnancy but those would have to be done today. Contact your local pharmacy and ask for advice.
