Gary has many ad's in his videos but Steve has none plus Gary has just brought a book out.
Plane ,train & everything has merch store .

Hubby & I enjoy watching all 3 .Not once has have we spoke about Alicja's & Steve's ages ,Steve's weight, what he eats etc.

The age difference between the Wally with a GoPro and his misses isn’t a problem that’s their business.
I would find him a nuisance on a train always jumping up and down and moving, why he can’t keep still is beyond me.
I do like his channel but him banging on about costs bugs me. He would have a bigger budget if he had mid roll ads. I’ve got YouTube Premium so ads don’t bother me.
He comes across as a decent bloke unlike Scott from Planes, Trains and Everything who really deserves a thread of his own.

I think she looks like she’s fed up or furious in a lot of vlogs. One that springs to mind is when they were in New York and he had just visited the store his wonderful hat is from, her face was like thunder sat there. She definitely plays up to the camera too though

In the Top of Wales During a Heatwave vlog they pass some little goats on the mountain and big man Steve decides to shout 'You Smell!!!!!!!' to one of the goats. This is coming from the man who pretends to his viewers that he likes animals. You can tell Alicja has a genuine love for animals but he secretly doesn't. Shouting abuse at animals on their territory is so disrespectful. The thing is I bet that goat smelled 1000 times better than Steve who always looks scruffy and unclean in the majority of his vlogs!!!
Unfortunately goats and other wildlife don't have access to a shower like he does so what does he expect them to smell like!
He sounds like a bully with his big gruff voice as well.

Alicja is becoming more and more like

Oh yeah she's vulnerable and she's also controlled by him, she watches her ps and qs when she knows he's annoyed. He's a loner and I think they probably just have each others company which isn't healthy, especially for Alicja. Yep she wants to keep the roof over her head and that's coming at a price. I'm thinking as time has gone on it probably was him that encouraged her to leave her job, he maybe gets jealous if she interacts with other guys like you said, plus he calls both of them introverts so he's classifying her in the same way as he regards himself. The problem is over time Alicja may get fed up of not working and having something to do and being around other people. Alicja looks to me, just judging from the vlogs, that she likes to mingle with others (she was loving that Grimaldi ferry atmosphere) but she probably feels that she can't be herself when she's with him. If he is the only person that she's around what's gonna happen if they have a big fall out? where will she go if she has no friends where she lives? To be around just one person isn't good for her. I remember one of the excuses he gave when they moved to Montrose was that Portobello beach was tooooo busy and that Montrose beach was nice and quiet. I've been to Portobello beach loads of times at different times of the day and most of the time it's pretty quiet, it's only on really hot days that it's packed. Exactly, why isolate Alicja in Montrose when she could be having fun in Edinburgh where there's loads to do. Has there been any mention of Alicja's dad?

I've never heard any mention of her dad. Maybe they don't mention him because it's so awkward with him being possibly the same age as Steve. The man could be turning in his grave knowing she shacked up with a bloke pushing 60. What is Steve's intentions. Will he ever make a honest woman of her?. I don't think he will. I hope Alicja isn't broody and in this relationship where she won't be allowed kids.

Why is having a Patreon account sound like it's being derided? Most content creators cannot live off of YT revenue alone, especially if they don't take on paid sponsors they shill for by inserting 3 minute tangents about eSim cards. The audience wants steady weekly+ content from their favorite creators, so they give money to them to support them. It makes enough sense to me. Ideally those creators then provide extra videos or other bonuses on Patreon, but I do recognize many of them aren't reliable this way with their Patreon output.

Why does it matter if she works full time or not at the shops? This is a long-term couple who work together to produce travel content. It's their shared job. They are self-employed. This doesn't seem controversial to me and while I do think there are transactional elements to their relationship based on her being younger and coming from seemingly less, I don't see anything we can confidently call out as pure exploitation running one way or the other. I definitely get people wondering out loud (I wonder too) but like obsessing about her hypothetical work schedule is strange business.

Well if he couldn't live off his YT earnings then he shouldn;t have given up his job then, simple, even without patreon he is earning enough to support him and her per month. It looks like she's chosen to be with him due to his YT popularity and the fact he has his own flat and a car, she ain't daft, she's chosen an easier lifestyle for herself. Nobody is obsessing, we're only giving our opinions, a healthy discussion. Mind you, i have to say that some of us are more tuned into them than others

She could be a gold digger and with him for the lifestyle?. Trips to Canada, the Queen Mary for 8 nights then the stay in NY, all the other trips. Steve isn't daft though. He's possibility cottoned onto her and that's why he's never proposed ( yet?).

He's not fit enough for this and tbh it's out of order him doing these climbs and risking mountain rescue having to save them. These types that are into climbing have a great diet, they're lean. Steve you stick to coastal paths with chippies close by.
