Agreed, this just looks like normal textured hair to be honest? Making comments about her hair in this manner comes across as being very rooted in racism, even if unintentional.

This makes me laugh cos didn't she immediately posts multiple posts and blogs about how she was finally loved??
once again she wants attention from people when it suits her (wasn't she whining about not getting enough views/likes again the other day?) but doesn't want them to be curious about her life. It doesn't, and can't ever, work like that!!
if she didn't want people to comment on her "relationship" she should never have announced or showed it. Instead she went on about it like she'd won the lottery or become prime minister!

Lose weight, gain weight or stay the same, it’s your body, no one cares or should comment. But when you’ve made your entire online personality about fat acceptance, publicly troll others who lose weight from the fat/body positive community in the past, and then act like obvious intentional weight loss isn’t by choice, go on to pose/edit pics to make yourself look even slimmer it’s a bit of a joke imo to claim you’re still too fat, ugly and unconventionally attractive. Fattily ever after indeed.

I mean, she's not wrong about overlooked because she has a great sense of style. If she was a nice person with an engaged following, she'd have brands falling over her. Callie is so beige and boring, I totally forgot that she exists but she has an army of people who find her relatable and aspirational within the realm of possibility. Also, even if it's probably a bit fake, Callie has the feel of being a (parasocial?) friend with warmth and big sister vibes, whereas Stephanie is just an out and out mean girl. No warmth, no friends, no community - just bad vibes and leg poses and brands want more than that. She really needs to drop the fashion and just pivot to travel content full time because that's where her real talent is.

I don’t know if it’s her lack of maturity or her very narrow view points or just her utter obsession with dating but her constant obsession with ‘conventionally attractive’ people having it easy is delusional. I’ve had some incredibly beautiful friends and I have witnessed the off the scale harassment they’ve dealt with. Dating for heterosexual women is generally a disappointment yet she thinks she is uniquely hard done by.

God she’s annoying. I’m a similar age to Steph and have just bought my first house (appreciate she’s renting). I was previously renting a flat. I’m single and have been for while - for some periods that’s been by choice, others it hasn’t been, but I am where I am and am generally quite happy.

I’m SO BORED of people making content about being single - “solo weekend” “solo house hunting” etc. We totally do need to see a variety of people “doing life” in different ways but what started as empowering now just feels completely oversaturated.

The thing that I’ve found has helped me most is not defining myself by being single (society will do that enough) and no hyper focusing on it so that every thing I do is prefaced with the word single/solo - single person food shop, solo dog walk etc.

Sorry, that turned into a rant separate from Steph but I’m just so fed up of it and she’s feeding more slop into the whole machine

She's from a brief era where some utterly talentless, terminally online individuals were given a platform because they had one or more characteristics that were desirable to audiences at the time, whether they had any substance or not. And there are plenty of talented plus size black women, it just so happens that she isn't one of them.

Her entire career, such as it is, is her railing against her own medoctiry.
A lot of plus size influencers got in on the ground floor because their blogs became popular in the late 2010s at the height of fashion blogs etc. Plus size was a pretty unsaturated niche with lots of women who were looking for clothing inspiration, the body positivity movement meant women with bigger bodies were encouraged to enjoy clothes rather than use them as a tool to cover up and try and look thinner.

If you could take nice pictures and put a plus size outfit together that wasn’t just a floaty blouse and waterfall cardi then you had a good shot at doing well. Then a lot of them grew pretty successful accounts on Twitter and ig etc and moved into influencing. Steph was one of those bloggers and she’s been coasting on her following ever since but the landscape has changed and she can’t sustain it in the same way. Pivoting from blogger to ‘content creator’ isn’t as easy as it looks, and now with TikTok/reels etc you need to do more than post pretty pictures with inspirational captions to do well. Also the influencer bubble is starting to burst and brands are no longer paying the big bucks to just anyone with a few followers, they are more selective and want more ROI for the content they pay for.

I agree that it’s worth having conversations about miscarriages and fertility issues that bring men into it all - but that conversation being lead by Steph?

Maybe my judgement is tainted but I find it hard to believe she ever wants to have conversations in good faith or to be useful as I feel like everything she says is always tinged with a sneering, bitter ‘gotcha’ tone
Oh totally, she's not interested in anything beyond centering herself as the victim having the last word.

She'd be much happier if she went offline and lived a life in the real world.

It’s just her entitlement speaking. If she sees someone with something that she hasn’t got (wider reach, diverse content, more followers, better collabs etc) then rather than examine what they have that she doesn’t, or what she could do to fill that gap for herself, she just complains and gets outraged she doesn’t have the same and insists she deserves it. Next level main character syndrome!
It's such a weird mindset and a fast track to being miserable. Sometimes in life you just get what you get, sometimes there's no reason and sometimes it's because you're a dickhead.

It's especially wild since she's already had a reach far beyond her capabilities. She's not a good writer. She dresses well enough. She appears to be quite unremarkable in many ways, which is fine. Her expectations are so out of whack with reality. If I was her I'd be grateful for, and making the most of the success I'd been given.

Omg her stories - ‘I really need to learn how to switch off and relax’ while sitting on her sofa under a blanket!!! ‘I just love what I do and can’t switch off’ - again, what is it you do?!? ‘I work even when I’m on holiday’ - because you got a free holiday out of it! She is utterly delusional. She could not cope with a real job.

I don’t really know how to read these rankings, but does this suggest that the book isn’t selling? I found it interesting that there are only 2 5 star ratings (her and her agent? LOL!) but no written reviews. I almost feel sad that none of her friends could be bothered to write something! It’s all so cringey.
completely forgot this had come out! The sample on amazon is...... yeesh

Didn’t think it was possible but new level of total cunt unlocked. If she pays for a window seat she doesn’t want anyone else looking out of it? Can’t understand why she has no friends or boyfriend.

She is circling an actual point. Fertility issues have historically been blamed on women, and I see lots of posts online talking about women's fertility declining sharply at 30 when neither of those things are strictly true and actually, sperm quality also declines rapidly and there are studies that show women at 40 have a good chance of conceiving naturally if their partner is younger than them.

Miscarriages, especially recurrent ones, have been by poor sperm quality and DNA damage, and I think most men don't really consider this and assume that just because they technically can reproduce into old age that their fertility isn't an issue, unlike for women where it's shoved down our throats constantly and there's all this online talk of them being "expired" at 30.

I see a huge amount of manosphere and red pill types calling single women worthless after 25 because their fertility has declined when the reality is women have always had and still are having babies into their 40s (it's just more likely to be a first or second baby now, rather than a fifth or sixth).

I don't know what's triggered her because I don't follow her but there is a grain of truth there. A stopped clock and all that.

Her latest reel is very good and I fully agree with her message, people shouldn’t comment on others bodies or body parts especially when they haven’t mentioned it themselves. This bit really made me laugh though because she hasn’t been open about her weight loss at all (that I have seen. Maybe she has on stories and I’ve missed it?)
I find her so patronising even when she makes a good point. She speaks with so much condescension

she makes some of the most baffling and un self aware statements i've ever seen from an influencer.

1) you literally chose a lifestyle that is based on " creating content"
2) you make your entire living from it so it's not for free??

Also isn't she supposed to work for Marie Clare? still has it in her Twitter bio 🤷‍♀️

Said it before and I'll say it again, what on earth is she on about when she says she is not conventionally attractive?!

I hope this is not insensitive and that I'm not using the wrong language but she makes out like she has significant facial differences from the typical person. Or like she looks really masculine in a world where women are expected to look ultra feminine. She is neither of those things. She has also lost a shit load of weight. What is she getting at????
She’s genuinely not unattractive (physically at least) I think she just blames that when really the reason she has no boyfriend/friends is because she’s an obnoxious person
