The whole idea just makes no sense whatsoever to me.
If your body just gets to a point where it regulates itself so you're no longer hungry and you don't put on weight then obesity wouldn't exist. You wouldn't have people that weigh over 500lbs ffs!

Reading the comments on the video I can't believe how many people are buying in to her crap.
THIS
I really don't understand this All in diet
She says that she's in a better place now, but to be fair I don't see any difference with the keto diet. They may be different but equally offer very unhealthy approaches to food.

Oh yeah when you are recovering from Anorexia or Bulimia you definitely don't need to eat 5k calories per day. That's insane and batshit crazy. Actually, I wish more professionals should address that weight has little to do with eating disorder recovery.

My own experience: I was heavier when I was Anorexic and Bulimic. I didn't need to eat tons of calories to recover. I needed a dietician and a therapist to do so. As years passed by I stopped being body and food obsessed and diverted my mind into hobbies, people, and my career. When you are recovering from ED, if you are only focused on the physical aspect, you won't recover because it's a MENTAL disorder and it has to be treated mentally too. The problem with most people like Stephanie is that they think recovering physically only without any professional help or consent will magically make ED go away (and btw she is still disguising her ED as "long starvation" or whatever bullshit she calls it).

She will never seek professional help cause she is still delusional that her all-in worked yet she is going back to her pre-all-in body because she is still mentally stuck with food and body image obsession.

It really bothers me how Stephanie has become so centered around her body. Don’t get me wrong, she’s always had her physique updates but not as much as now. I really don’t think that she has to remind everyone every week about her past and “journey.”
I also think that Jeff is not too interested in proposing to her lol. Poor Steph.
And people are clearly catching on that Steph is looking more tiny now. Of course she ignores the comments but I just want to point out that she does consciously know that she is looking smaller. Why? Because all of a sudden she feels more “confident” to post a picture of herself in shorts now. I don’t want to spread hate because a part of me still likes her but I totally get what you all are saying. I wish that she finds therapy.

Ugh! Why did I look at more of her posts? What is this BS science graph she's posting about set point weight? Bodies don't work like that IRL! If they did, there wouldn't be an obesity epidemic! Bodies don't give a shit about your aesthetic and fitness goals. It gives a shit about starving to death and being energy selfish. If there's tasty food allover the place and you don't make a conscious effort, your brain will say eat it! It don't care about your fat levels or if adipose tissue is too full, this set point theory, in the long term, is nonsense. She's totally misrepresenting the science. Sure, if you eat a fuck ton over a few months in spite of your normal habits, you *might* lose weight *if* you go back to your previous eating habits. Unfortunately, that's not the case for the rest of humanity. That's why your weight creeps up over time if you don't consciously regulate your eating habits.
And you KNOW Stephanie was mentally counting every damn calorie in her filler-injected head when she started dropping weight. Gods, she's such a shyster!

anyone else find it weird she hasn't deleted her binge videos? I was just recommded one from 2 years ago, I get she is obviously not in charge of the algorithm, but surely this is why she should delete them if she no longer stands behind these ideas?
Not at all. She's makes bank on those videos to this day. She's got to pay for that new house in Ontario somehow.

First time poster, although a long time reader. I used to really like Stephanie (many moon ago) especially when the content was focused on the science of exercise and nutrition (e.g. are artificial sweeteners dangerous). I fell out and started reading gossip sites when she started the massive cheat day stuff. I am so bored of the same content and her continual insistence that she is less food focused/ has food freedom etc. Looking at her content for last few years, you can see that is a lie. Every damn video has been about all-in and food, with barely any focus on exercise/ other content. It's just disappointing because I feel her content could be really good. Especially since eating enough should (in theory) allow her to fuel her work outs properly. I guess I just have to accept that the content won't ever really be my thing.

In her newst vid - does she just play up how much she enjoys food or what? Seems like such a bizarre reaction for somebody who eats what they want, when they want. I haven't dieted in years, (understand might be different for different people) but good food doesn't generally elicit that intense of a reaction for me. Any else?
Not just you. She's so incredibly food focused and plays up her foodgadims for the camera. Her binge eating challenge videos have been, and will always be, her most popular videos, so it stands to reason that she'd go back to eating crap on camera while being skinny af. She seems incapable of making any other kind of content.

My problem with Stephanie is that she isn't actually "fit," despite her being a figure in the fitness community.

I think at a lower body weight she had more muscle definition and that's why people grouped her with the fitness influencers. But to be honest, she never had much muscle mass because she never ate enough food to put on serious muscle.

Then when she was eating more, she avoided the gym because she said the mirrors bothered her.

Stephanie is obviously still restricting. There's a huge difference between eating less because you have anxiety (what she is doing)/losing weight because you are struggling with mental health and actually setlling into a healthy body weight after restricting.

IMO she is promoting disordered eating, from her previous 10k "cheat days" (binges) to her restrictive mindset. She is a grown woman who plays victim online, obsessing about what her audience thinks of her, and I'm over it.
I don’t get why she did 10k cheat days instead of distributing that across the week so she wasn’t starving herself for the rest of the week. That’s really disordered and a very bad strategy for building muscle. Then instead of doing something more sensible like not doing crazy cheat days, and trying reverse dieting she goes all in. There is a reason most responsible trainers recommend one cheat meal not an entire cheat day let alone 10k calories worth. Like most people, I think she has an ED and body dysmorphia which in my opinion probably caused her to quit her career. I hope she gets therapy :/

I haven’t followed Stephanie for long but became intrigued by her after YouTube recommended me some video of hers as I got major ‘fake’ vibes from her from the beginning.. It seems that most of her comment section buy into the image she’s presenting, which is sad to me, but there are a few calling her out. This one on her most recent video (entitled, with questionable accuracy, ‘what a day of food freedom looks like’) seems fair. Sorry for the suboptimal crop.

all i feel like now is her videos are just her justifying why she’s doing x y and z to us, but then she says she doesn’t want to have to justify herself to us? if she doesn’t want to then don’t? if she feels she needs to address something, do it on an instagram story and leave it be, fuck doing a 20 min youtube video on it.

it’s so sad to see that she’s gone from doing literal cancer research, potentially saving countless lives (or working towards it) to finding reasons to give her viewers that she’s gained/ lost weight

it's just weird she went 'all in' and now she's back as skinny as every
Maybe it was all done on purpose as a way to boost her business. Rather than going all in to sort out her extreme hunger maybe she already decided she was gonna go all in & then just lose it all .. it would keep peoples attention!!

I think everyone should make the right decision for them re plastic surgery but it does make me sad how many fitness influencers are getting boob jobs if I’m honest. I feel like it puts so much pressure on everyone to constantly see women who have low body fat and higher muscle mass also then having big boobs, like that combination is just a completely unattainable shape for the majority of women who take lifting seriously

Her version of all in just complete horse piss. I can appreciate Kayla rose for example, also a bikini competitor, who used the same approach and inspired Stephanie. She also gained rapidly, plateaued a bit and then lost some weight naturally… but. She is still in a bigger body size and is happy there! I do believe the premise that your weight will naturally fall after the food fascination is gone and your body settles down.

But not the extent in which Stephanie has rapidly lost weight. This is deliberate and unfair.

She's so incredibly insecure, no? She got soooo much work done already. I'm not saying getting work done is bad or anything, but for her it's really a way to fix herself out of insecurity. It's really so sad, she's so shallow.
I am really not a fan of boob jobs, as I said. Is she not worried about the possible complications? Also when they need to check for breast cancer the implants make it really difficult to get a good check up. Why take the risk?
(*if any of you got a boob job done, no i'm definitely not coming for you at all! it's just how i see it personally because i used to work with a lot of cancer patients so it's touchy subject for me)

I think she just wants hit after hit after hit, fix after fix after fix. She's so used to getting that high, from hitting a new amount of views, to getting to a new amount of weight. She's constantly chasing that new high, new rush. This way of living is really not healthy, both mentally and physically. It's also harming a lot of her viewers.

She's set herself up with the perfect excuse...

"it's not restriction. Now I've gone all in and got rid of my extreme hunger, my appetite has naturally reduced"

She might even believe her own shit at this point, but facts are it was so obvious she wasn't comfortable in her bigger frame, and is manipulating her weight now using her old tricks. She just won't cut to the same extent, and will go back to being "insta pretty" and shilling shit, and making money on adsense from views of her old videos.

Such a waste of a PhD. Makes me respect her even less, she had potential to do some good in her life and chucked it away, to create content that encourages disordered eating and negative body image within a vulnerable audience.
She went from being a phD graduate to a full-time instagram/youtube influencer. She cares more about her body image and food than other things in the world. It sucks that so many vulnerable people are physically and mentally affected from her videos and instagram stories. I think she only took a phD to make herself look smart and good but in reality she is a downright moron. What idiot would wear a bikini inside a house then wear long sleeves and leggings on the beach? She can't even dress properly based on the weather and claims she is so "smart" by using shitty jargons and scientific terms.

Wonder why she’s been demonetised? Gotta love that beg! Get a job Steph!
I’m glad she’s getting demonetised because damn she’s seriously milking this whole all in thing. She’s not even going all in anymore?! She’s clearly in a calorie deficit because she’s pretty much back to her normal weight prior to her all in journey. It’s all so manipulative really… makes me sick that young girls look up to her and think going all in will solve everything and at the end of the day will result in still being thin after a year or so. Ugh, I want to tell her views to go see a professional!!! Go to therapy!! Talk to a dietician!! Don’t listen to YouTubers! Even those with PhDs 🙄🙄🙄

View attachment 618285 I’m sorry but no, I refuse to believe the hype over being “all in” and finding your “natural weight”….. she is so clearly cutting and what perfect timing as her book about going all in is coming out - she’s manipulating people into buying her book as she’s able to say “hey look at me I’ve gone all in and I’m back to where I was without the extreme hunger ! Buy my book! Woo!” … ugh.
Not only is it EXTREMELY misleading but its so harmful to those looking to actually recover. It's truly disgusting what she is doing and putting out there for such vulnerable people.

I’m a little fed up with her stories sometimes, I want to see new things. Like I know she struggled but I don’t want her page to solely be dedicated to her success of being all in. Wish to see something different.

How do you start threads here I think there should be one for mukbang/all in/food challenge vloggers to be honest. Or just one for Livia (alwayshungry) because there are so many people with really problematic behaviour.
Honestly there's a lot of people who need threads here from the fitness/food/health world.

Stephanie's all in journey was insane. She clearly has a lot of issues she needs to work through with a therapist regarding her relationship to food.

imagine spending all that money and time just to have what is essentially a mukbang channel?
I don't know if anyone here follows Natacha Oceane, she basically did the same (i.e. abandoned academia after her PHD) but she actually uses her scientific knowledge to make good content, I don't like all of her videos but the differences between them are really shocking
Stephanie wishes to be like Natacha but she can't 😂 Natacha isnt perfect but she is genuine and one of the best influencers out there. She's honest and truthful about her ED unlike Stephanie who glitters too much bullshit on her life.

the thought that, after all she has gone through with her body, she might still not be in therapy horrifies me. I really really hope she gets professional help and just doesn't share it on social media
