Wasn’t there talk of something with her and Reece Witherspoons production company a while back, renovation programmes etc?
She wouldn’t buy that money pit unless she knows she will have financial backing to film the renovations, all done with the promise of more TV exposure.

From what she has shown of the interior of her new house, it is massive and needs a lot of work. I don’t understand why someone who has at least a couple of million to spend on a property would buy one that will take hundreds of thousands to do up and maintain when there are so many lovely ones in the same price bracket that are already done up to a high standard. Sure, you might want to change the decor, but why give yourself all the extra work/planning/organisation/expense of a doer-upper if you’re already stretched with work and family?

Everything she has shown of the house just feels creepy to me and why would there be a ladder going upstairs to a whole third floor with a bathroom and everything? There must be a staircase somewhere?

It does seem very creepy, like it was an abandoned house sat empty for years. As you say there are so many gorgeous houses when you’re looking at the budgets here and joe have. It is huge though so maybe that’s what’s sold it to them? And if she’s planning all the animal stuff it must have a bit of land with it and she maybe couldn’t find that elsewhere. I’m looking forward to seeing the kitchen now after the reveal of that hideous bathroom

I can’t help feeling that was the beginning of the end for our darling Stacey.
She didn’t win anything last night, not sure about last year - and of course the year of the strop nothing… so if this downward trend continues perhaps programme makers will think twice about having her presenting in the future.
Not forgetting the recent bad press, although that seems to have plateaued recently. However, when people decide they are sick of the sight of those teeth, her unwashed gross ‘husband’, and the myriad of hangers on, I’ll be here for it.

Which again proves that then”last minute trip to LA” was fabricated. Def done to ensure they were clear of the new house so things could be done. Same with JemJem allegedly using her Amex points and able to get the flights for all her brood at the last minute. All a pile of shite.

Again, why lie? Everyone knew she was moving so why not be upfront and say “we’ve booked a month off on hols to let things be done to the house as it needs a bit of work.” Most folk would understand and agree that made sense. If you’ve got the money to do that, then on you go (although the holidays were clearly grifted to a large extent).

I suppose Stace and her clan wouldn’t be happy slumming it in a caravan à la Jemma (FYI: Jemma has said that when - ha ha, if - the planning permission comes through, they will move into a caravan when the work is being carried out).
