Andrew has changed his profile picture on Facebook, it’s now a photo of his two daughters and himself in Europe.
My heart breaks for both of you ladies I have no words but sending love to you both. XI’m sorry for both of us to have to go through that, every word you’ve said I resonate with and im here with you. How did you get through it? I had my baby one month ago and she died soon after, I can’t see how I’ll ever stop crying and not feel heartbroken and triggered by everything
Yes but I highly doubt that could have done anything. I believe it would have to be repeated long term exposure but I’m not a cosmetic chemist. I do know that “the dose makes the poison” so it would depend on how much and how often she used it. I don’t think they do many studies on pregnant women using retinol because it’s unethical to put babies at risk.So this doesn't feel great to bring up but I noticed today a post on insta promoting Retinol & all stories noted to not use while pregnant so I googled why & it's actually very dangerous for a babyLoaf posted a few days before the baby passed, saying she was rubbing it into her belly
I’m just gutted for you both and thanks for sharing here about the loss of your beautiful children. My dear friend lost her child some years back and walking with her through that grief was one of the greatest honours of my life. It taught me a lot about ‘accompanying people’ on their grief rather than trying to fix it. I think as hard as it is, sitting with it and riding those waves of emotion that come up like landmines is the only way to get through it. The operative word being survival, it’s not something you ever get over. You just learn to live with it and accept in on some level. There isn’t even a word in the dictionary for losing a child because it’s a ducked up unfair thing to happen, and the wrong order. Children aren’t supposed to die before their parents. Also, you’re navigating a world you weren’t planning on, when you were expecting and prepared for a different chapter which feels extra unfair and cruel. You’re never alone, and your pain is valid. Move away from the people who can’t accept your process. People won’t know what to say. Instead of just saying ‘I’m so gutted for you and it’s so awful and unfair and I wish this didn’t happen’ they try to say other things that are off or nothing at all. Or they say ‘what can I do to help you’ and you might not know. Just know that it’s unfair and hard but people suck at grief so keep on going.I’m sorry for both of us to have to go through that, every word you’ve said I resonate with and im here with you.
