Social Media or Social Chaos?

Starting this as I don’t want to derail another thread in the TikTok section.

TikTok and Facebook Lives seem to be full of people living chaotic lifestyles, and Scottish TikTok seems to be the worst but maybe that’s just my algorithm (red neck)! It’s embarrassing and downright depressing.

There are addicts blatantly misusing substances; Mothers neglecting their children and exploiting them for gifts; people in the justice system flouting their criminal behaviours; randoms taking it upon themselves to misidentify pedalos and accuse sometimes innocent people of vile crimes yet excusing popular ‘content creators’ who joke about CSA or r4pe; grown men stalking the streets of Glasgow at 4am on a weekend stating their intentions to pick up a drunk person. It’s concerning and exhausting.

It’s like a sinister underclass that has gotten a grip on social media, arguing and fighting with anyone and everyone, taking it offline and going to doors. Threatening to knife eachother, setting fire to cars etc etc. The worst of it is, they have huge amounts of followers who validate their behaviours and encourage it by gifting them and/or leaving adoring messages.

Hopefully we can pick up a general discussion of this here. Please tag anyone else I’ve forgotten and don’t mention it on the other thread please.

Haha I saw those yesterday as well, but didn't want to bring any attention to it in case it really was anyone.
I doubt any regular tattlers are sitting with their profile views turn on, on their main accounts so I was laughing before I even saw them as they commented people were getting outed based on profile views.

Iv cried a lot, I'm stressed about everything but for the first night in weeks Iv slept properly and I feel better for it. Just gonna take each day as it comes. Staying in bed today & aiming to get myself together tomorrow! I genuinely mean it when I say I'm greatful for every single one of use!

Earlier on they were talking about the video I posted of Scotty outside Les's Flat aswell and Frati was like "THEY'RE YOURE PAL BTW THERE WAS NO THING SAYING FOLLOWER" or whatever she bleeping said.

It was a bleeping recording from outside the live I'm certainly not a friend of Scotty on TikTok.
