I was supposed to go to Tenerife March 20th last year . Suitcases packed , Revolut card loaded a fist full of Euros annual leave granted ..then Covid happened..
I want a holiday , my husband is 50 in June , it’s not gonna happen but I’m confident, maybe , that it will l happen on my birthday in October, or ...
I want to go to a restaurant
I want to go to a spa
I want a few pints down the pub
I want to see the in-laws whom I haven’t seen for a year and listen to the mother in laws incessant criticism 😂
I want to.......

Oh my god where to start:

First thing is see all my friends and family. Go home and see my grandparents.
Spend time with my nieces and nephews, and form a proper relationship with them.
Go out for meals.
Get dressed up and go for drinks.
Book as many tickets as I can to events and gigs.
Festivals.
Several messy nights out.
Have a barbecue.
Actually have friends round to see my new flat, I’ve only been able to have one or two over since I moved in and I want to show it off!!
Go on day trips to fun places with my friends, I feel like we never did this enough. Always too busy or something else getting in the way. Really want to make more of an effort after this.
Take as many photos as humanly possible, I’m going to be that annoying person shoving a phone in peoples faces going “smile!” 😂

See my grandparents and hug them!
See my best friend hug her and then put the world to rights with her 🥂
Spend time with my husband child free
Carry on avoiding my in laws (this past year has been bliss without being around their constant drama and passive aggressive behaviour)
I'm a massive introvert so my list is pretty small

Be able to hug all of the children in my family, neices, nephews, cousins etc.
Have a family BBQ with bouncy castles for the kids and warm weather
Go for a meal in a restaurant
Go on the romantic hotel get away my other half and I should have gone on for New Years Eve
Continue not seeing my sister in law because she's a nasty bit of work
Aimlessly wander round a shopping centre without having to worry about buying essential items
Never hear the words social distance again

I'm easy to please:

Meet my best friend's son, who was born in October.
Hug my nephew, who has gone from being a baby to a toddler since I last saw him. 😢
Just get outside of my neighbourhood! So tired of walking down the same old roads for my daily exercise!

I'm looking forward to not being restricted in where and when I want to travel.
Going to pubs again.
Building a bonfire, so I can put all of the flipping facemasks on it, and watching them burn!

Hug my Gran and be able to visit her daily like I always did, having a cup of tea and a chat with her so she doesn’t feel lonely.

See my little niece who recently turned 3, and actually be able to let my sons play with their little cousin again. On her birthday we had to drop her presents off at doorstep and she kept wanting us to come in but SIL is very worried about the virus so we didn’t.

Spend time with our other niece who was born just before the pandemic and who we’ve only actually seen twice in her first year.

Take my kids somewhere fun, maybe a staycation or drive down to Thomasland or something.

Go on a proper date night with my husband and be able to let the kids spend time with their grandparents.

Haircut and brow wax, badly required. Also restart my gym membership.

Help husband find a steady job again if he hasn’t already by then.

Just go out, anywhere and everywhere. When lockdown ends I plan to be busy and never want to be stuck inside for as long again.

Love this thread!

I want to hug my Grandma and Grandad.
I want to see my son playing with his friends, like properly playing - running around without a care in the world.
I want to leave the house without reminding everyone to “remember their masks”.
I want to take my son to school without worrying that he’ll be sent home due to a positive case.
I want to have a proper browse in a shop without wearing a mask and constantly making sure I’m 2m away from others.
I want to have a big family party and get drunk and play games.
I want to see someone hug in the street and my first thought not be, “they shouldn’t be doing that”.
I want to go for a walk outside our local area without fearing that I’m breaking any rules.
I want to get married.

I want to hug all my family, my friends, my workmates - give them a massive squeeze. I'll cry. I have tears just thinking about it.
Go on a cruise
Go to a gig
Go to a show
Get dressed up and drink cocktails with my friends
Go to my 'normal' place of work and work 'nornally'.

Go to the beach, sunbath, swim, go for walks
Take a trip up Scafell Pike for a picnic
visit friends around England
Goto pubs and restaurants and beer gardens
go to rave and rock festivals

Take my girlfriend to a secret part of the Lake District National Park, rent a boat and take a cruise around the lakes. And then find a secluded place and just make love to her, and then go for a skinny dipping

Simple tastes. Just waiting for Boris for the okay

See my mum and dad for my old routine of having breakfast with them when I've done a work visit.
Play with my nieces and nephews.
Go for a meal with my best friends.
Do what we used to do at weekends, have all the kids friends in and out and swap who's mum was hosting and putting the kettle on for who.
Take the kids swimming and have the car full of mates who are joining them.
Take them to junior gym.
Take the kids to the roller skating rink.
Stop my hair looking like a morph of Dumbledore and Hagrid.
Go out for Breakfast with my husband.
Get husband to a pub so me and my cousin (who's husband will be with mine in the pub) can do the kids a buffet and talk absolute crap while they hang out.
To not wear a mask in a shop.
My life was boring to some, but I loved it as it was.

Love this thread 🥰

I’m quite the introvert and don’t really have plans to go on holiday/concerts/big days out as I didn’t really do them pre COVID 🤣 for me it’s the little things that will now become the big things.Taking my 2 children to see all their grandparents, to hug and squeeze my little sister, to take my eldest to soft play again, to be able to go anywhere at our own free will. To walk freely round primark, b&m, home bargains (lol - I’m easily pleased 🤣) have a child free date night (all these babysitting the grandparents have missed out on, don’t worry you’ll be making up for lost time and so will we 😂)

Can I also add..work alone for an extended period of time, because the mini Skyeballs will be at school and educated by trained people who know what the actual duck is what. 🙌

Looking forward to getting back into the swinging scene, it's been weird shagging without anyone watching over the last few months.
