This reminds me of Ant&Dec ripping the piss out of Johnson throughout the last series of IAC before he was turfed out. You don't survive this type of general mockery for long.
Clearly nobody wants the job coincidentally the kings US visit coincides with the rent boy trial.

I truly think it's this, because I've been pondering this issue today after headlines about Starmer being obvilious to how much he's loathed. So I think it's a lot of what you said here, and the rest is they live in a complete bubble and have no clue about the real world or real people. Most will have gone from parents to uni to government. Not ideal really when the job should be about understanding those you are supposed to be serving.

So is Stamer running the show or his wife? Apparently she's urged him to carry on. Why??? She must be seeing how much he's hated, it's pretty much the entire nation loathing him at this point. Can't be blind to that.

This is vibing like Carrie Johnson giving speeches and using the royal we like she had any sort of position to do so or Sally Bercow always making it about her.

Not helpful, imho!

She has to be a cunt to be married to him willingly

Maybe she does realise how hated he is, but she hates him more and is loving watching him being hated on.

No-one cares what his wife thinks and I've got no idea why he thinks it's relevant?

The last thing I’d want if I was his wife is that batty boy* home with me.

*I have no idea if it’s allowed to call people that these days, I have no idea what it means either but I cant bear to say c*nt

So Ian Collard's written evidence confirms Olly Robbins' testimony. He told Robbins that Mandelson's case was very borderline but the case could be contained with strict mitigations. He didn't see the form with red boxes (neither did Robbins) but he clearly would have known that there were serious concerns. But these concerns were known to everyone including Starmer.

This begs the question as to on what basis did Starmer summarily sack Robbins. He didn't disregard the vetting decision. The substantive verdict of the vetting decision was that the high risk could be managed.

Robbins is going to receive a huge payoff for unfair dismissal. Starmer should be made to pay it out of his own substantial pension but obviously it's the taxpayer who'll pay for Starmer's poor judgment.

Batty boy (bwoy) is usually used by the Jamaican community for the term gay.
