Confirming he'll be gone by the end of the week?
It's five now isn't it? There's been at least one more arrest in recent weeks. It's all been kept rather quiet. The simple fact is don't go into politics if you have skeletons hiding in the closet.
Those skeletons will more than likely find their way out one day, due to the very public nature of politics - and how it operates.
I too would of once dismissed such an accusation as 'conspiracy'.
However, after what has gone on recently, plus the strange co-incidence of all three who attacked Starmer's property having accounts on Grindr - now makes me think there IS something going on here.
Well the fact is, Veni, a moment like this calls for true leadership. Leadership that's fearless, strong and entirely selfless in the service of a greater cause.I see Starmer’s director of comms has now resigned. I’m not convinced this strategy is going to work for Starmer.
All we will see is - as what happened with Boris- is resignation after resignation occur.
Including Ange herself. "There's always a tweet", as they say.Considering that many Labour MPS were calling for an election after Tory leadership changes, do they stand by that principle when they are the ones in that situation. Or once again, their principles only apply to others, not themselves.
It is a bit early for April Fools day!How glad I am that the adults are back in charge.
Of course the hypocrisy is when Angela is that position, there will be no election. Will be interesting to see what BS she comes up with, when we are in that situation.Including Ange herself. "There's always a tweet", as they say.
If she is elected party leader and therefore PM, she'll need to do a u-turn right on her first day in office, and explain why she doesn't believe this any more.

He only handles tools which belong to Ukrainians. You should know this by nowWell my eyes have been opened to this whole rentboys conspiracy today so now I have to ask - have they patched up th front door of th burnt house? Otherwise that's probably why Keir hasn't resigned, he's not nowhere to live!
You would think the son of a tool maker would be able to handle a tool or two though.
PM isn't an elected role though. It should be enshrined in our constitution that a PM resignation triggers a GE, because the recent history of it being a job share regardless of what the electorate want is a farce.
Haha this is brilliant!Well now little @Skewbedu , sit yourself down and let me tell you a story.
Please bear in mind it IS only a story, and any resemblance to any lantern jawed politicians is purely coincidental, m'lud!
You see little @Skewbedu , once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away, there lived a man called Mier Barmer, the hoary handed, large chinned son of a sainted and blessed toolmaker. But Mier was not satisfied with his father's toolmaking ways. His eyes were fixed upon a greater dream, he wished to journey all the way to London Town and to the Palace of Westminster, where he wished to rule all the citizens and settle hisgrey, technocratic and deeply corruptfair, just and sensible rule all over the land.
In order to do this, Mier had to marry, because the citizens of Westminster prefer a leader who's happily married, to a lady (an actual lady, mind, not one of those brick shithouse ladies with willies). And so he did, he married a beautiful lady called Kicktoria, who liked all the same hobbies and pastimes as Mier did, such as getting fancy clothes for free, going to concerts for free, and wearing designer specs, also for free.
But you see, Mier had a dark and dirty secret. A secret that he believed he could never reveal, because if he did, the citizens of Westminster might not let him be their ruler anymore. And do you know what that secret was? Well, Mier LOVES immigrants, right? Especially immigrants who'll monopolise local councils and form voting blocs to keep him in power. But you see the thing is, sometimes Mier loves immigrants SO MUCH, he actually lets them come round to his house andrail him senselessunblock his u-bend with their plungers. For which he pays them. Cash in hand, of course, because whilst Mier and his mates just LOVE taxation, they only love it when other people are paying it.
And so what happened next? Well, there were three beautifulrent boysUkrainian princelings, called, oh, I dunno, Bilbo, Frodo and Gozo. And they pumped their plungers into Mier's U-bend, and they cleaned him right out! But Mier, with his mind on serious affairs of state, forgot to pay them! And so what did those three princelings do? Well, they huffed, and they puffed, and they BURNED his house down! (Well, just the porch. And his old car.)
And Lady Kicktoria was sore in wrath and kicked him out of the house and he had to go and stay in a flat owned by his fairy godmother, Lord Ali. But Mier is very clever, so he put out lots of photos of his children so that when he did public broadcasts from the flat (as this was during a time when all the land was sorely afflicted with a plague, and all citizens were shut up in their homes), it looked like he was still in his house!
But not everyone was fooled and rumours abounded aplenty.

I think dear Keir may have been threatening to call a GE, and thats why no one else has jumped since Sarwar. Wouldn't want to lose their lovely paypackets would theyAll we will see is - as what happened with Boris- is resignation after resignation occur.

I think the reason why we've had six PMs in less than 10 years is because the British electorate, when you interrogate voting patterns alongside focus groups, have for the past decade been patiently using the ballot box to ask for 2 simple things:PM isn't an elected role though.
I agree that the number of PMs in the past few years has been a bit much though.
Honestly I think the threats going around atm is like that spider man meme! The latest ‘model’ arrested is 19 so if all of this took place during lockdown…I think dear Keir may have been threatening to call a GE, and thats why no one else has jumped since Sarwar. Oh my word: so this is the post and the thread that is finally going to end Tattle! And @moldwarp, please don't expect me to visit you in the Tower. In fact, should anyone suggest that we are acquainted or have ever agreed on anything, I have my answer. In the style of Mariah Carey, I shall smile sweetly, shake my head and say: 'I don't know her'.Well now little @Skewbedu , sit yourself down and let me tell you a story.

If we have to have a Labour government I would want Starmer to stay in because he is the best of a bad lot in terms of who the Labour Party would pick as a leader. I wouldn’t mind Wes Streeting, he would be a centrist Labour which is what people thought they were voting for, but he won’t get in because the Labour Party members will go for someone hard left and we will be absolutely ducked. We will have open borders and a ducked economy which is the opposite of what the electorate wants. I can see trouble ahead.I think the reason why we've had six PMs in less than 10 years is because the British electorate, when you interrogate voting patterns alongside focus groups, have for the past decade been patiently using the ballot box to ask for 2 simple things:
1. More highly controlled borders
2. A credible plan to drive an economy based on higher productivity (which involves helping people on UC into work wherever possible)
Successive Governments have not delivered this, in fact they've refused to deliver it, because our Elite Class has, since the 1990s become increasingly divorced from working and middle class Britons. Indeed many of our Elite Class don't much like Britain and see themselves as Europeans or Atlantic internationalists. Theresa May was brave enough to understand that Brexit was an inchoate protest about this and came close to articulating it (her Somewheres/Nowheres speech) and was swiftly slapped back down.
The only recent PM who I believe actually genuinely loved Britain was Boris Johnson and the electorate saw this and lent him a majority, but then, of course, he dared to eat a piece of cake, and thus was defenestrated.
None of our other political class wants to deliver what the British public has been asking for. Indeed they are doing everything they can NOT to deliver what the British public wants, and worse, they have convinced themselves that the British public is the enemy - we're bigots, we're ungovernable.
We are therefore in an extraordinary situation whereby our governing class refuse to give the elecctorate what the electorate has been patiently and peacefully asking for. THAT is why successful Governments keep failing. We want something, they refuse to deliver. and so it's a stand-off. a deadlock, us vs the elites.
And, worse, that ruling class now fears and despises us. And the lickspittle, weak-minded regime supporters, the keyboard warriors, fluff and glaze the Elites by mocking and insulting ordinary people on Bluesky, X, Tattle and wherever else you care to look.
This is a major problem; potentially a nation-ending one.
To be honest with you, given all the sick food related code words in the Epstein emails: “I’ll bring you some shrimp tonight” / “I love pink shrimp best” / “Jeffrey is sending you three bags of beef jerky tonight” / “Are there any recorded images of X with the shrimp and pizzas Jeffrey sent him”The simple fact is don't go into politics if you have skeletons hiding in the closet.
