Like the poor kids do they not get to go to school if she is out ??? I’m guessing their isn’t cover for her

She keeps mentioning not being able to put weight on the leg as an excuse not to go to work. She must be hated in that school. I can’t cope with people like her in the workspace

Ya we have someone she even called in sick when her partner had covid. She gets zero sympathy from us in office and she gets upset " that we don't care" - we don't your not a team player!
Kids with additional needs requires a stable professional helping them. She is lucky she permanent in her workplace.

If she has a valid doctor’s cert there’s not a whole lot her job can do about it tbh, and these kinds of ‘caring’ jobs tend to be pretty bad at getting rid of people, even when they deserve it. Not saying she deserves the shove but I’d be seeing her with new eyes the amount of sick time she’s had off the last year or so if I were her employer.

As an aunt of a child with serious special needs I can tell you an SNA like her with all her absences really hurts the child & the school. The school cos there’s duck all you can do about a permanent staff & their sick leave but the child/children because they’re depending on a sub to be able to catch up & understand their needs at short notice which is never fair on the sub no matter what their experience. Of all jobs, her being an SNA/carer/childminder she is absolutely not reliable for any of it

Oh I completely get it - and I can't imagine what, if any, contingencies the school would be able to put in place when an SNA is out sick. I suppose it's up to them though to have robust policies around time and attendance and to tackle any issues of repeat illness absences. In the caring field bosses very often don't do the 'boss' bit very well because they're trying to be so supportive and operate in an environment where everything is about help, support, relationships etc. so cracking the whip isn't a skillset they practice very often.

I'm glad I'm not her boss anyway ;)

There’s absolutely nothing a school can do with the likes of her. I’m all for unions to protect workers rights but in the case of teachers and SNAs and actually any public sector worker it is impossible to get rid of them and she knows it too.

There surly most be a limit to the sick leave though but I guess it’s a new term so fresh start that way I just don’t get it how someone has the balls to be out injured but posting herself training if I pulled a sickie I’d hide away 😂😂😂

In fairness there is not alot wrong with her foot if she is able to do that. You would think she should be "resting" it if she has to take time off from her job. Why post these stories? Attention seeking Sinead!

I wonder are her absences actually mental health related but she blames some phantom ailment rather than say that. Not that she has to explain her health status on Instagram but it takes a fair brass neck to be posting photos of your day at the adventure playground when you’re off sick (allegedly) with a physical injury. Maybe she hopes they’ll fire her so she can drink wine and eat taco boats all day!

I don’t think it’s mental health… I think she really dose not see what she is doing wrong she is always right and dose seek massive amounts of attention… truth I don’t know why she don’t quite and go after full time sport and health if that’s what she wants stop wasting the school and children and parents time and go off and do a proper collage course not her online thing

I think she’s very stupid and naive, she does not have the brain cells to figure out that being out sick and posting on instagram doesn’t look good, I really don’t know how she has a job or they haven’t performance managed her out of a job!
