Shower Gel or Soap in the shower?

Been wanting to do this for a while, reading the
Do you wash your legs in the shower?
Thread as inspired me to start this up. (I've included bubble bath in the question for those who like a Bath)

I use Shower Gel personally, Imperial Leather is what I use.

If I have a bath, I use bubble bath and shower gel.

Hahaha I've just replied this exact thing on the legs thread.
I use both, gel followed by soap, I need to feel that squeak from a soap or I don't feel clean, gels leave my skin feeling like there is a film on them.
I also bath followed by a shower Because lets face it your sitting in your own dirt, though think it was Paddy Mcguinnes that threw a curve ball suggesting showering 1st then relaxing in a bath!
I do like to use Molton brown but any soap usually palmolive or imperial leather that type.

Ever tried Imperial Leather Marshmallow? That's really nice. I will admit they do have quite a good
range of flavours.

Yep! They do a fruit salad one which I loved but don’t see it around much!

I feel like soap gives me a good clean and shower gel makes me smell all nice. Like you wouldn't put perfume on before a shower? Think you need to give this ago

Soap. I use Wright's coal tar soap. A few years ago , I was told it was old fashioned to use soap, but it's becoming more popular because people are cutting down on plastic packaging .

Gel. Love batn and body works eucalyptus and spearmint one.
Can't stand soap rum.

imperial leather shower foam is amazing and I feel really clean after using that but I also use tropic body pebbles as they feel like i've used lotion too, oh and lush body conditioner after i've had a wash is lovely, it's like washing then conditioning your skin rather than your hair but im also partial to a good shower gel.......im a product tart

Shower gel - I’m using Lush Snow Fairy & a pink Palmolive one. I’m going to ask for some L’Occitane shower oil for my birthday in 2 weeks.

Usually Shower gel, not bought any for myself all year been using what I had in. Molten Brown, body shop, lush etc. I had one of those body bars which was ok but wouldn’t buy for myself.
I shower everyday, if a work day shower twice a day.
Buy hubby ‘original source’

I use Dove shower gel, have downgraded from l’occitane almond oil and finding it fine. I shower twice a day and dry skin

Does anyone know of a similar, but cheaper version of anything like this? Something that smells like marzipan. I love L'Occitane but can't justify it for everyday use.
