Hi all,

So I'll be the first to admit, I'm not the most fashionable of people, usually a jeans and tshirt/vest top or leggings and a top kind of girl. I've gone through a weightloss journey in the last couple of years and I've lost 6st and my fashion sense hasn't really changed other than I now obviously wear smaller sizes however I've nearly always worn what we would call pumps/dolly shoes, over the last few weeks I've seen popular creators slating these shoes basically saying 'ew how can they bring these back' whilst showing pictures of the shoes from primark etc. I must be massively behind the times but when did they even go out of fashion? 😂 why do shops sell them if nobody buys them? I'm so confused but it's given me a complex now about the shoes I wear (stupid I know) but I can't stop thinking about it. For example, in winter, do all females just wear boots and trainers, in warmer weather, do females only wear sandals? Is there anyone here who still wears pumps? Im still slightly self conscious and in some ways still feel like my bigger, unhealthier self even though I'm now a completely healthy weight for my age, height and body shape but fashion just doesn't come naturally to me. Its not helped by the fact I could walk on water instead of needing a ferry because I'm a size 9 with wide feet so most shoes look like clown shoes on me. Help a girl out please, I need all the tips, clothes and shoes based. Thank you 😊

Hey. First and foremost, go you with the phenomenal weight loss ☺🏆 so happy for you!

Shoe wise - I love a pair of wedges or trainers (can’t hack heels). Don’t see anything wrong with the pump style shoes you are describing - absolutely wear it with power and don’t let others rain on your parade. 😊

Recommendations would be looking on Adidas/Nike/Dune London (their Head Over Heels range of trainers are gorgeous) or even New Look if on a budge, have heard they do great wide fit/extra wide fit trainers/wedges/heels, oh and Yours do a wide fit shoe range - again, seen some gorgeous shoes on their website.

Usually in winter will wear boots either suede/leather but they have to have good grips for the snow and ice!

Clothes wise - sucker for Zara, Next and Reiss. What colours feature mostly in your wardrobe? Oh and a staple handbag like a tote and some nice jewellery is always a plus to elevate almost any outfit. 🥰👜
