I buy Peach so many toys. She's got so many balls, mice, big toys, small toys, catnip toys, non-catnip toys, rattly ones, quiet ones...

What is her favourite? The hairband I left on the floor by accident a few days ago and she can bat under the living room door and throw up in the air and catch :ROFLMAO:

They do love hairbands! Although word of caution, they can be quite dangerous for them. Have heard plenty stories of cats munching them and needing surgery

Ooo this is probably me being a terrible cat owner but I never really thought about that! I'll definitely make sure she's redirected and my hairbands stay put away, thank you for letting me know :)

hahahaha don’t worry I didn’t feel any judgement 😅 I have removed her hair bands off her today and placed them on the coffee table, and she’s been obsessed with looking up there at them ever since 🤣

Loki's current status, you'd think he'd be uncomfortable but he's assumed this position for the last 2 hours, he's clearly in a deep repose cos he's snoring like a pig snuffling for truffles 🐷😸.

Earlier today Thor was asking for food, my husband told him to wait and Thor did a big meow that sounded like he was saying 'wow' in a rather sarcastic fashion. 😂

So funny because he has such a quiet voice, more of a croak really.
Wow! Haha.

If cats could speak human I'm sure they'd all be either sarcastic or really passive aggressive

Just had a battle trying to get both cats to take the worm meds. Boss #1 took half of a pill and we hope to get her to take the other half later. It was stuffed inside a treat. We had to split it cos it was massive. We tried the usual trying to just get it in her mouth and rub her neck to get her to swallow but she panicked badly. We were really relived that she took the half in the treat after that. Since the pills work from 2kg to 8kg and she is 4kg, I feel like even if she only takes the half it'll still be OK.
Boss #2 however didn't take the pill laced treat but tbh the treat in question is the 1 she plays with 1st so it kinda makes sense. Plus cos she only 2kg, so super small, we quartered her pill and really hope that later on she will let us just pop it in her mouth and swallow.

We wait until the chaps are all sleepy and relaxed, and then attack them with worming pills, crank open the jaws when they're not expecting it and stroke their throats.

I don't normally post here but read and like photos of your beautiful cats.

I noticed the chat about giving pills to your cats.

We inherited my Mum's cat and a week after she passed we got confirmation that her cat had small cell GI lymphoma.

She is on one and a half steroid tablet daily and one chemo tablet every second day.

At the start it was a large towel around her neck to be protected from the claws (although someone used to put the opening and the front and I would get caught sometimes) and then a fight to get the tablets in the mouth.

Then I came across the pill popper on the internet and now it only takes a couple of minutes to give her the meds.

Don't even need the towel now.

Still have the problem of trying to catch her.

I posted earlier about Peach's favourite toy being a hairband. After advice I took them all away from her for her safety but omg! She's become a menace! She's literally hunting them and trying to find them wherever she can - I'm having to leave them in a zipped pouch. She can't be stopped, she's like a vigilante running around secretly finding hairbands wherever she can!

My Mum’s cat is wonderfully and gloriously spoiled with all the toys imaginable. Her favourite toy of all time? These garden ties :
