One of my favourite cat slave moments is me in the kitchen when out of the corner of my eye, I see Jimmy playing with one of his toys in the livingroom. Just him living in the moment of chasing and catching a ball without a care in the world.

I entered both my cats into the Nose Of Tralee competition, I'm so excited to see what happens! 
Also Boss#1 let me pet & brush her 2x yday & the 2nd time she was on the ottoman when I went to her. I was expecting her to run like she usually does but she didn't! She stayed still, bit tense but then when I was petting her she was so relaxed and rolling over! It was so sweet & an improvement. Then today it went well too. I was brushing her & Boss#2 came and interrupted so Boss#1 left but I followed her & she didn't dart away, she let me give her few extra brushes
Oh & I think she like Lana Del Ray songs!!!!! I will need to start playing them for her cos the few time already she seems to recognize them

acting upset/scared to make you worry but really just desperate for the cuddles anyway. I wonder if she understands that he will tell you about it I was attempting to get Jimmy's fur into some sort of a decent state earlier.
He hates me combing it so, at the first bit of resistance to the comb, he took a swipe at me.

Yes it's from 2013 and both of these fluffs are at Rainbow Bridge but I will always love this photo, I hope you do too x Minnie and Alf.

This is my lovely lady Hari very aloof crossed the rainbow bridge aged 17 just as we were about move house? She fell ill very quickly and I often wonder if she succumbed rather than leave the home she'd only ever known when she adopted me aged 12 weeks from a neighbour who'd taken her mum in whilst pregnant

Today's "You've just got to love 'em haven't you?" was him acting unilaterally because he didn't want to wait until I'd finished my dinner before giving Jimmy his dinner.
I was midway through my dinner when, from the kitchen, came the joyful sounds of cat vs kitchen worktop and utensils clattering to the floor.
Who cares when there's scraps of cooked ham to be had? Not Jimmy that's for sure.
Yes, I did pause my dinner until he got his.
So I'd ordered a gift wrapped denim jacket for my toddler grandson went off to find some tape to reseal the box as I'd checked the contents came back to this!
It has now been repurposed as Merry's bed no doubt till she gets fed up of it... Later

The girl we adopted in May has settled in so nicely with us. But she’s got diarrhoea 
it started last night and I woke up this morning and she’d gone another two times in her litter tray. We haven’t fed her yet, I’m about to go to the shops and get her some chicken. Other than that she’s acting her normal self, she’s been out in the garden and played and doing her morning zoomies so hopefully it passes soon.
