looking for advice on my 5 month old kitten
he has had gastro issues and the vet wants to put him on a prescription food. The only thing is that its a dry food and he will not eat dry food at all. I told her this and she says that if i just remove all other food sources he'll start to eat it. Has anyone had any success with this method?
Has the vet mentioned anything to you about the Royal Canin gastrointestinal food? My previous cat Freddy had some gastrointestinal issues & they recommended the Royal Canin food as it’s very gentle on tummies.
He was an adult cat though and I’m unsure if they do a kitten version . Also it was expensive to buy - £13 a box but it did help him.
There are also sachets that are made by purina - they are pro biotics and also help with sore tummies. Again - I don’t know if they make a kitten version.
I do think it’s worth having another chat with your vet fo discuss further . I have linked the products that I used so you can see what they are .
purina probiotic - this stuff smells like gravy granules. I just sprinkled some on Freddy’s food twice a day .
