I think its quite sad that they've missed out on all the fun stuff when you and your partner first move in together. Decorating the place together, picking stuff out, not caring that there's no carpet on the floors and you only have a sofa someone gave you but you're happy because you're together in your own place. Everything has to suit the aesthetics and once they move in it'll be 'operation engagement', 'operation wedding' etc etc.

I was so excited when we moved into our first purchased home, we couldn’t afford flooring for months so we just had concrete but it was a great excuse to get a nice pair of slippers to spare my poor feet whilst we saved up for carpets 🤣

we renovated our first house, literally back to brick. It was simultaneously the best and worst thing; worst because we had 3 kids, but the best because of the laughs we had and the excitement of choosing things and seeing our vision come together (or not in some cases 😂) and then we had immense pride when it was done. I couldn’t imagine just paying someone to design my house and source everything. But then again, we only did a full renovation because the house wasn’t at all liveable. That house looked fine when they got the keys. I think some of it actually looked better 🙈

Yes that's what I thought. I have very fond memories of eating a Chinese on the concrete floor the night we moved in.

We laugh now at the absolutely rare things we bought just because they were cheap and did the job until we could afford better or what we wanted. Im actually glad we didn't walk into a grand design style house because we wouldn't have those memories and that's what life's all about ❤

The whole concept of building a ‘home’ and a life together, appears to have just flew over her head. He’s done a lot of the labour in fairness, so at least you can see the fruits of that when you are living in it.

Meanwhile Shannon has just shopped for crap to put inside someone else’s vision. So what they have now is more a house than it is a home.

Most people would have been champing at the bit to move in together the minute they had the keys,

She’s been living in a bedroom at her mums so long that’s she like a child playing house, with the ridiculous dressing room, her TikTok glass mugs etc.

He has done lots, it seems, it must be hard for him working full time and then having Shannon’s endless list of stuff to do when he hasn’t had any input in to the house, he’s just there for the labour.

Anyone else would move in asap and sort everything out around the essentials. Must have more money than sense paying for the house for all these months without actually living in it.

Aye not reality for majority buying their first home. Mine still needs a lot done to it and been in it nearly 4 years 😅😅

It's not like they are paying rent elsewhere though. They both live with their parents. I think they both want to stay living with their mummies so are delaying as long as possible.

The amount she mentions Watson and brown and tags them, it’s probably heavily been heavily reduced. It’s all very Brown and beige!

No it seems fairly standard in size. I can’t believe she’s turned 2 bedrooms in to her wardrobe space. What a way to de-value the house.
Yes it seems a mad thing to do. Alright if you've got loads of bedrooms but I think the house had 3 or 4 at most.

In one of her videos she kept saying ‘my house’ and Kieran corrected her and said ‘ours’.
