Calling plus size women who lose weight toxic 😂

It's horrible she gets those messages but will she ever f off.

She always uploads before and afters of herself getting smaller to bigger why is she lying saying she wouldn't upload that 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Being 5 ft 2 and a size 26/28 isn't healthy girl.

I found her through her 'the girl I used to be, in 2017' video and tbh I do quite like her fashion sense, but at the same time I think it's so hypocritical to slam creators for losing weight when a quick scroll on her insta from a few years ago she was posting before and afters of her wedding weight loss? And really, as someone who has pcos - isn't that the best thing for your health, especially as she's expressed she wants a child? The video she posted of 3 years married she's got a pregnancy test and so I presume she sadly miscarried but it's common knowledge if you have pcos to side your contraception being a healthier weight is good? She doesn't have to be a size 12 again, just a couple of stone off her would make a world of difference to her overall health!
I think she's hinting towards Louise Pentland re weight loss

I think this is more about influencers losing revenue. If a lot of influencers are jumping at the chance of losing weight be it with weight loss jabs, fitness or whatever, it's going to make "being overweight" unattractive again. I think a lot of followers will stop wanting to see these very large ladies trying on clothes & obviously their audience will drop and so will their income.

It’s the “if that’s what trulyyy makes you happy” comment that got me, like super condescending? Am I over thinking that lol. Like she’s coming across like it’s not going to make you happy but lol go you.

also FYI Shannon, doing work with a PT doesn’t necessarily mean losing loads of weight. You could improve your body with strength, health etc.

I’m sorry but she’s really someone who would massively benefit from the weight loss jabs! She can spout she’s happy all she wants but no one is ever truly happy being overweight, she’s struggling to have a longed for baby, and yes her PCOS won’t be helping that but her weight will be having a huge affect too, her BMI must be off the charts!

She definitely would! I'm on mounjaro as it's been used in the US for nearly 10 years to treat pcos - I have it and since taking Mounjaro a lot of my symptoms have disappeared or lessened significantly! Not to mention the weight loss as well! To get IVF on the NHS you'd need a bmi of 30 (which she won't have) - even private providers in the UK normally only stretch to a bmi of 35!! 🤯

Obesity also affects the cycle and hormones. She’s talked about her irregular periods again today.
She’s also said all she really wants in the world is a baby and she’s really concentrating on that.
I can’t understand then how she can be truly happy with her body if it’s potentially a barrier to fulfilling her dream. Is she just not admitting it to herself?
She’s worried is she loses weight now she’ll lose her platform and be a hypocrite but no body would say it’s inauthentic if you’re losing weight in order to have a baby! Showing enough Chinese takeaway to feed 5 for 2 does not make her relatable imo, it makes her self destructive.

And not to play devils advocate- but even if she got down to a slightly healthier weight to get pregnant and improve her cycles, she could still be 'overweight'. I'm a size 16-18 and that would put me in the 'plus size' category- but even if she got down to a size 18-20 surely that would be healthier for her overall even if she wants to stay 'authentic' to her brand as a plus size influencer? If she's a 26 now she could drop atleast 2-4 dress sizes and still have the best of both worlds of being plus size and easing the strain on her body?
Plusssss, if having a baby is her priority/goal, surely that's her authentic self? And that her audience would either still follow along or may bring in a new audience? If having a baby is her #1 goal shouldn't that be your priority not how losing weight will affect your follower count?

Exactly! She doesn’t even need to lose a massive amount to possibly help out her fertility, but it does irk me a bit when women go on and on about wanting a baby so much and struggling with infertility but won’t do a thing about their weight, but would be more than happy to put their bodies through potentially unnecessary IVF instead of just losing some weight. And I know that not all infertility is caused by being overweight but when you are as big as she is and suffer with infertility and PCOS and irregular periods, losing weight could really help.
and I’m saying this from part experience, me and my husband were trying to have a baby for a few years and I was very overweight, and I knew if I wanted a baby, and that ivf may be our only option, that they wouldn’t look at me while I was so overweight, so I put the work in and lost the weight, and I was so lucky to fall pregnant naturally twice afterwards and have 2 very healthy, easy going pregnancies

How many times does she need to mention that not doing this whole new “lifestyle” to lose weight? “Don’t worry Huns I got you” basically don’t wanna lose my followers and job if I lose weight..

I’m sure 90% of her followers would fully support her losing SOME weight to get her baby dream

It is so bizzare. If she was worried aboutt
losing followers why did even post that she joined a gym ?

She is like 5 ft 1 and a size 26. She is dangerously obese.

She always talks about how leaving the house is a success. I wonder if this was an issue when she was lighter

I hate when people post like this.. like just take the break! You don’t need to announce it like this. It’s like tagging yourself at the hospital.

Celebrating getting a period. But fact is her excess weight will be contributing to the fact she doesn't have periods and negatively impacting her fertility. Thats just a fact. I used to have 2 or 3 periods a year when I was massively overweight, surprise surprise I lost 6 stone and although they're still not regular (I have PCOS) they're now every 5-7 weeks. Only thing that changed was me losing weight.

Another one glamourising obesity. Why is it about weight? Why do you have to be either starving yourself and making yourself ill or overeating and morbidly obese? Why not promote something in-between. No weight doesn't equal health but being a 'healthy' weight, getting there and maintaining is definitely healthier than the extremes of weight loss/gain that she is speaking about.

I wonder if she’s jumped on the jab and is now going to try and pass it off as Metformin … waiting for her to show her drug packet in 3,2,1 …

Why was she so against losing weight in that recent post? Why is it a bad thing to lose weight? Especially in a day and age where there is literally a cure for obesity and she has the means to use it. Why do these fatties constantly feel the need to defend their own weight loss? Of course weight loss is going to help why try and disguise it as anything else. Interesting they don't seem to make the connection that healthy eating and exercise = improved health and yet a side effect of doing those things is also weight loss THATS WHY YOUR HEALTH IMPROVES. So stupid. Stop flying the 'im large and happy' flag.
