I've said it before and I'll say it again. I used to really like shan. A lot of her videos I put on and generally zone out. She's a "put it on in the background" youtuber. Watched a vlog of hers recently for the first time in what a year and even my husband was like... The fk is with this house... It's so cold and dull. Maybe once it's all done but her front door looks like a prison door so heavy and clunky. I also don't see the need for a lift and why her home seems to have so many "spare bedrooms" and "rooms we will close off and hardly use"... So build a smaller house hen!?

I also have to agree with the comments about her make up skills.. she says trust the process..and then it's still shit.. she says she loves a bronzer and it's pure orange.. and don't even get me started on her dress sense... It's always been the number one hate I've had. She has zero fashion sense or knowledge of what suits her shape and height. As long as her fake boobs were out she didn't care. I watched a video where Hamish picked her outfits and he chose wwy more flattering stuff and she still tried to change it to make It garbage ...

So true, I get new mam's can go through post pardum and not too mention depression while having a new born can be overwhelming and you just want to cry all the time. She needs to understand that parents, single mams and dads who don't have the resources or a 'job' like she doesn, not only deal with mental health, they also have to deal with proverty, the struggle to feed and cloth their kids. Influencers can go on about how they will teach their kids about being kind to people etc. It isn't going to change the fact that their influencer parents have shown the world, their lifestyle (which I get they have worked for some of it) of getting free things gifted to them.

No doubt shannon and hamish have mortages to pay etc, but they can still AFFORD TO BUY nappies, food, clothing, toys, their own personal things. while families who are really struggling, don't even have air con in their homes, nor do they have enough blankets sometimes, nor can they afford to save money and build their own home. Shannon might say she gets it, but she doesn't. If she did, she would be using her 'resources' to help other stuggling families, helping other new mams. Like, I don't understand why she gets gifted things, knowing that even though she gets a 'discount code' that people still aren't able to afford things. She can't say things like, ' they can use after pay' why? when that money can go on food etc. she isn't relatable and hasn't been since 2010

Okay so got some tea from a friend of mine who lives in New Zealand and happens to live in Palmerston north, I was face timing and she had a funny story to tell me

Her brother works for the building company who did the build on Shannon and Hamishs home. He didn't work on their house, but one of his co-workers did and he was telling him about this couple and how the husband kept driving past the house everyday. They didn't mind the husband stopping in to say Hi and seeing how things were going. But they got annoyed that the husband kept driving by the house cause they knew the cars, sometimes the husband would stop in with the range rover and some days this little car (Dunno if they still have their porche) so my friends brother told her that the wife is some famous youtuber in new zealand who does makeup and she knew straight away who it was cause her brother also told her, that his co-worker said that the house is the biggest in the lot, has a great view and that while he isn't up on the interior colour schemes, he told him that the house looked 'cold' inside little tea.

I laughed cause the fact that my friend use to follow shannon and no longer does cause she said didn't have a good experience with Hamish

Sounds about right. I don't think Hamish has anything better to do with his time apart from being Shannon's bitch. Also I see they have tagged the company who built the prison on Instagram...if you go to the companies page on IG they have a photo of the prison and tagged the street. So obviously privacy isn't a big concern for them

Imagine buying a whole ass machine having never even TRIED reformer Pilates?!?

his face and he became addicted.
I know he’s v controversial but I appreciated his POV and advice for people thinking they might want it be and showing the realities of when you’re “in it” you don’t realise how bad it looks!

And just to add, I’d have so much more respect for influencers if they shared a photo from the brands website saying “these are great nappies. I got blocked from her instagram years ago when I called her out on being a sellout for taking an oppo phone and acting like she likes it more than her iPhone. I’d said something along the lines of being a sellout and that in a weeks time we will see her back on her iPhone and how fake it is to even accept an oppo. Haha

anyways her person that’s done her interior design use to work for another company Nicola Ross is her name. When we built our house she was assigned to us. She was terrible. Couldn’t remember us from our first consult and messed up our choices lucky we had gone over it before finalising and realising she stuff it up! She was so bad with communication and getting back to us. She also told us to make the kitchen bigger as it was too small for a family 4 bedroom home (that was good advice) but then failed to realise the door would be too close to the cabinetry and it was an issue for opening the door. Something you would expect someone else that’s contracted in a build to pick up rather than us have to realise once the build was done! I gather Nicola was another PR stunt cos she was shite, saw an opportunity to falsely promote herself.

The colours of the kitchen, well throughout the entirety of the house, would not be my first choice and would put me off purchasing a house if it had that colour theme.
The brown faux wood reminds me of the flat pack furniture you get from Kmart / warehouse.
secondly we all know she is a grub, all the dark colours and black fittings for everything and dark sinks are going to look disgusting. They are hard to keep clean and was trendy about 5 years ago.
