Hello!

I have just started sewing/dressmaking and I’m loving it! I have tried many hobbies in the past and never enjoyed them lol but really liking this.

does anyone else sew/dress make? Anyone got any good patterns that they follow/ places to buy fabric/cool people to follow?
Exciting! I have recently started doing a bit more with my machine, but mainly fannying about with quilty type projects. Dressmaking stuff scares the bejeebus out of me. I have no idea how people do it!

I've just started mending/repairing my clothes in earnest. I've been guilty of chucking out pants/socks as soon as they get a hole in, so I want to learn how to darn. I've ordered a second hand sewing machine so I can do simple repairs/upcycling.

I've only ever hand sewn before so I'm expecting drama, haha. I can mend small holes in knitwear and do a simple stitch repair already, but it would be nice to learn some new skills. Something to do that isn't on a screen, at least.

That’s cool! I’d love to have the patience to quilt! The patterns for dressmaking do scare me a bit haha, I’ve ordered a couple of Tilly and the buttons patterns which are supposed to be good for beginners

Aaargh!!
Help with easing sleeve in please! No matter how much pinning and easing I can't fit it in without puckering.
(Have used this pattern before and made it work so I know it's me not the pattern)
