I have really sensitive skin so wanted to try The Ordinary Azelaic Acid. I only want the small bottle really (in case I react) and don’t want to pay full price of £11.10 for the same reason, so off I trot to Vinted. There was only one person selling it and it was £10 (£11.20 with buyers protection + postage) with 24 likes so I assumed it was the 100ml (RRP £27.40) but she hadn’t stated in the description and one pic was too difficult to read and in the others she had covered the box so I messaged her. Nope….its the 30ml bottle. Anyway it sold over the weekend so maybe I’m just being difficult but I don’t know why anyone would pay more when they could buy it brand new for less and be able to return it??? I get if it’s a rarer item or something out of stock or discontinued.

Indeed we ask this question multiple times a day tbh. It baffles me,it really does. Yes,ok if something has been up for months, but immediately nope. Also I'd something is "in demand" and had multiple offers,it's a pretty clear indication they don't accept offers !

Truly don't understand Vinted, was looking for a specific shoe, found a pair in my size but they'd been listed for months. Sent a tiny offer to see if seller was still around. Nothing. Then later this morning they price dropped by a fiver lol, so I bought them for £3 less than I'd originally offered????

Bargain for you then. I have sent so many messages to people that get completely ignored, even people that have actually purchased from me. It's very weird.

New to this thread and also Vinted!
I’ve had a huge clear out recently with the help of my older teen daughter and I’ve done pretty well, lots gone quickly and few cheeky offers. One issue I’m having at the moment is something I’ve bought that is supposed to be at my local Asda convenience store. I’ve had emails saying it’s ready for collection and also it’s been delayed! I contacted the seller who has been emailed to say it’s waiting for collection. So off I trotted to Asda today to be told it’s not there and I’m the second person that morning who has had the same issue. I’ve contacted the buyer and explained and she’s fine with it but I’m hoping it arrives soon.
has anyone else had issues with evri?

I dropped something at the parcel shop this morning and it took 3 hours to register it had been posted despite my seeing the man scan the code and confirm a receipt to my email address. Perhaps the system is glitching - I think they’re doing a lot of trade at the moment. I logged in to check a message, spotted some shorts I liked the look of, checked the pics and size and saw they’d been uploaded a minute ago. Decided to buy them and someone had already swooped in. Same thing happened with some shoes, left it 5 mins, went back to find them, already sold!

I know this is going to make me sound so stupid, but I only just realised yesterday that most photos of people in their clothes on Vinted are AI models. I was like - why is everybody so thin and gorgeous and have these minimalistic and tidy homes? Then I just noticed how smooth and tanned their skin was and I was like…. Ok hold up. Now you can’t unsee it! And all the fake bedrooms have the same brick walls and papyrus grass in a vase! Anyway doh.

Yes these are the pictures that usually sell fakes and are drop shippers, that's why Vinted has changed for the worse. You're not allowed to post pictures from the website, but can use AI it's ridiculous tbh

People are using them for all sorts now, I see them for all sorts of high street brands (not just the hyped stuff that is getting faked, but just people using it to flog their unwanted FatFace top?). Massive tell is the model holding the phone in front of their face for a mirror selfie, or the hand in the front pocket that's slightly too far down the arm

I personally would never buy from these people if they've been digitally altered

Most of these ones I've seen people are just using it as the cover photo then you scroll forward and it's your standard hanger on the back of the door for the rest of them, but yeah I won't buy from anyone who uses em out of principle lol

So... the person who asked me to reserve the item for them and made an offer of £5 higher than I was asking for has paid for the item, surprisingly, but also bought another item without bundling it. So has paid for shipping twice

A+ for effort if you're trying to bamboozle me using the same text as an offer

I had one already too. Accepted a offer,he cancels hour later, but not just me. He cancelled 5 others back to back. People really need to start editing feedback more. I also wish they'd bring back negative feedback for non collections I am sure we could do this year's ago. They get no comeback for it

Also "sent low offer again in error"
Again? So you knew the first couple were low offers? Chancer

This has happened to me twice. I just kept quiet and posted both items. Even if it was an error, they must have realised upon receipt because I always include the same note, but neither person mentioned it.

I’ve got a parcel to send via Royal Mail but it’s 5cm over the max length. Any have any experience on if they are super strict on this or am I likely to get it through?! It’s really light
