Hi my little one has had a cold for the past few days and due to start school Monday it isn’t listed as a symptom would you send yours or not. It’s getting silly now kids are going to catch a cold 🤦🏼‍♀️

Are you me?! 🤣 I'm in the same boat as you only he goes back on Wednesday.

I keep telling myself that colds and all of the other bugs haven't vanished but, goodness me, the current situation makes me feel guilty even if I so much as sneeze in public.

My little boy went back to nursery on Tuesday, I explained he had a cold and they were absolutely fine with it!

Omg same mine is back Monday for his first day of reception.. can’t help but feel guilty but at the same time aware how important it is for him to be starting his first day.

Same boat here. It’s definitely just a cold though. I gave her a shot of calpol and 2 puffs on the inhaler in the car park and sent her on her way 🙊 - I have waited too long to get them back to school to be thwarted by a basic witch cold!!!!

I sent mine in with a cold three days after school went back here, it turned out all the kids in that class and the teacher had the same cold.

My daughter has a cold but has woken up barely able to speak as her throats so sore, that kid loves school and is now sobbing because I've said she shouldn't go in!
Feel like I'm being a over protective mum but in all honesty I don't want to have to go pick her up half way through the day!

My youngest has a snotty nose today. But no temp or cough so I have taken him in. I wouldn't if he had a temp or cough because I don't want to risk him passing it on to others because of the virus.

My little girl (13 months) only started settling in sessions at nursery last week and got a cold over the weekend. I decided not to send her today but that was more because she’s been very upset with it (along with teething too) so didn’t want to disrupt how well she’s been settling in. However the nursery did say they would’ve been fine having her as so many of the children have colds (but obviously understood why I didn’t want to hinder her progress).
