I saw Big Country at Roker Park when they supported David Bowie on his Glass Spider Tour in the eighties. Bowie was a massive disappointment but I was standing on the pitch beside the speakers and the energy from Stuart Adamson and Big Country was brilliant. It went right through me. Put Bowie to shame.
