espresso took off for a coachella single with minimal promo, but selling music is literally her job. her last album had sleeper hits, nonsense / feather / read your mind / fast times etc and is how i got more into her music. maybe she feels omnipresent right now because they got traction after the standard album cycle (2022), and being an eras tour opener exposed her to a lot of new fans. i do think she gets unfair criticism though, like why is barry's baby at home is her fault? and if she's that annoying there's an option to mute her on spotify etc.

Well she's had success as she's got to release 6 albums with major labels. If she wasn't a success she'd of not got to album 2.
Just because she didn't receive instant worldwide domination of the charts I don't think that disproves that she's calculated.
It's taken 6 albums and the ripe old age of 25 to top the charts around the world. There's a saying it takes 10 years to be an overnight success. I think she's calculating.

I did like Nonsense and Feather but their not as memorable as Espresso. The constant tik toks of her outro to Nonsense was getting too much - she was just trying to be as rude as possible with some, I remember seeing a tik tok of some Mum outraged with one of Taylor Swift’s Sydney shows and what she sang.
I can’t get over how funny looking she is though - she doesn’t look real? She looks like a real life China doll and her make up is awful. Her and Barry are a right funny looking couple.
