I’d just jumped in here. I noted the instagram went when the MBE did and then we were back. Nice going. It’s not hard to just do what you are told. Wonder if he ever had to have contact supervised with the kids! I’d love to see what GH said about it.

I know some people on here enjoyed the Women’s Rugby World Cup last year. The Women’s 6 Nations kicks off in a month. I’m really looking forward to seeing the Red Roses play again but the squad will be looking very different this time. Abby Dow (my favourite winger 
) retired after the World Cup and 3 of the squad are pregnant (including the captain who announced it last night). I hope we will see some younger uncapped players getting a chance.
There is also a documentary following the women’s World Cup journey that I can’t wait to watch.

I love watching Ellie Kildunne in front of a big audience as the crowd goes wild whenever she gets the ball. At the WRWC final I was quite anxious after how Canada had annihilated the Black Ferns. Then a few minutes in Ellie did this and I relaxed
Although my favourite World Cup try was from the previous one when Claudia McDonald and Abby Dow went from try line to try line. Abby Dow had a bad leg break during the 6 nations and was only cleared to play in the World Cup at the last minute yet she could still do this

I mean fair enough , ending on winning a world cup on home soil is a fairytale ending but with the first women's Lions next year , she would have had a great chance of getting picked!I see Meg Jones has been picked as captain while Zoe is out - great choice! Looking forward to watching it
I honestly could have cried when Abby Dow announced her retirement. She has a 1st class masters in mechanical engineering and I think she just wanted to start her career. I think she was the Red Roses strongest winger by a mile so it will be big boots to fill. They have announced the squad this morning though and there are some interesting options. I would have Claudia McDonald and uncapped Millie David as my first choices (I know Jess Breach is fast but defensively she’s really weak). There are lots of young uncapped players in the squad, the future of the Red Roses.

She is a force to be reckoned with and a fantastic role model for young women with the honesty and resilience she has shown over the last couple of years after losing both her parents in quick succession. I’m really pleased Alex Matthews is one of the vice captains too as I think she is one of the best women’s players ever.
I am like a teenage fan girl this week as Meg answered my question on a Reddit AMA and Ruby Tui also replied to my comments on one of her videos.

Fantastic team. Jess Breach sort of burst on the scene due to her attacking prowess but like you said she is a bit weak defensively.
Looks like a good mix of youth and experience. Should be great!
I love Jodie Ounsley. Amazing woman, she shoes kindness strength and dignity in everything she does and she, in my opinion, it absolutely stunningly beautiful. I think she is an amazing role model.
She is awesome, someone we could all learn something from. She’s had such a tough time recently losing her dad so suddenly and has been so open and honest about her grief which I’m sure lots of others struggling with their own grief can identify with.
Are the Red Roses due to face their first loss in years during the 6 nations? From their World Cup squad they had 2 retirements, 4 are currently pregnant, 2 were not selected because of injury and another 2 of their players were injured in the first 6 nations game at the weekend. 10 of their regular squad is a huge amount. Exciting opportunities for some of the upcoming stars like Millie David and Sarah Parry but if there’s ever a time when another team may have a chance it’s now. I think they are going to struggle against France.
Anyone watching the women’s 6 nations? The Red Roses are now 15 players down from the World Cup squad due to retirement, pregnancy and lots of injuries and have had to call in a number of additional players. They have still easily won all their matches due their great depth but I think next week against France could potentially result in their first loss since the 2022 World Cup final which was very close and they played the majority of the game with 14 players.

I have watched a few games but it does get a bit boring with how good we are and basically beating everyone so easily !
We have done well to rotate the squad and bring in new players though and it's good to see the youngsters coming through
Even though they have still easily won they have conceded far more points than usual the last couple of matches so they are definitely feeling the loss of the experienced players. It’s always much closer with France (last 6 nations there was only 1 point in it) so next week should be a good game and I think there is definitely a possibility we could lose. They will want their A team playing and lots of the A team are out injured. They are currently 12 down from the line up who last played France.
Jamie & Millie Ritchie was the intended south of France move rugby related? Looks like he/she had enough! Their insta life looked a bit saccharine sweet/doth protest too much to me (along with that 5 yr engagement!)

Good opener, All Blacks v France and it's on ITV, so don't have to pay! Though adverts will be annoying.
I recently watched an old vid on yt think it was 2007, the haka between AB and France, some great players involved,was sad to read about Sebastian Chabel/Sea Bass, has lost all memory of all matches

Really looking forward to the New Zealand v France match tomorrow morning. Still not sure about the tournament as a whole but I guess it's good they're trying something new !
