Has someone seen her latest insta post? It's a photo dump from this week and it says "I had a tea date with my friend Vicky" and then shows a pic of Blakeney. Idk if it's either autocorrect or if she's trying to pass Blakeney as several different people, but if my friend of mine wrote a completely different name to mine I would be very confused.

I found a description of the English dissertation module Ruby is taking this term. (It's on the Exeter University website if you do some digging). From what I understand, she can only spend up to an hour and a half of total one-on-one time with her supervisor throughout the tern, and they can only read up to 2,000 words of a dissertation draft. (Leaving 6,000 words that Ruby will have to write all by herself with no input from a tutor/supervisor). No wonder she is freaking out and floundering. She has never been forced to work this independently before! She doesn't know how to write her papers without direct input from her tutors or Blakeney. If the goal of the dissertation is to showcase what she has learned during the course of her degree, and demonstrate competent critical thinking and writing skills, she really is going to have a rough time of things, because she really doesn't seem to know how to do any of that. It's kind of sad but you also really have to laugh, because she did this to herself by constantly cutting corners over the past three years. Now that she won't be able to rely on other people to do critical close reading for her, or supply her with specific and guided essay topics, (like in her normal classes) it will be interesting to see what she manages to come up with when forced to use her own brain. Assuming that her dissertation is due at the end of the current 11 week term, by my calculations, that gives her about 8 weeks left to actually research, write, edit, and submit the whole thing. That's not that much time, considering all the other assignments she still has to do for her other class. Ruby, stop wasting time on nonsense busy work, and just start writing the damn thing. Otherwise you really are just "shitting" yourself in the foot.

Are you a superfan? Or Ruby? Cause if so, you might be in the wrong place just saying
I agree with OP and I don't like Ruby. But I can acknowledge if someone I don't like does something decent. That's a good meal, it's got carbs, healthy fats and protein if the yoghurt is greek style, as well as some fruits. Good for her for showing something like that

Sorry I’m catching up atm haven’t been on this thread much recently, but wow as others have said this is just so google translated it actually hurts. What’s the point of even doing this? Why not be humble and make your journal about how you’re learning spanish? Instead of pretending you’re able to fluently write it when you’re clearly not 💀
She watched Dora the Explorer and pretends she is fluent in Spanish, just like the time she watched one eps of the Queen's Gambit and bragged how she plays chess everyday during her evening routine. She's lying to herself just as much as she's lying to us. I can't imagine living like such a fraud with pathological lying tendencies.

I've been going through Ruby's "dissertation diary" (UGHH the title makes me want to crawl out of my skin) again and the discrepancy between what she's saying and how she's acting is just hilarious:

Ruby: "I'm enjoying this! Hunting down obscure manuscripts of Lewis Carroll's letters is so much fun!"
Her face:

Most people establishing their dissertation question ask themselves two questions:

1. What am I interested in?
2. Does it have legs? I.e. is there enough substance to ensure I can get a good mark?

I don't recall obsessing over whether or not the topic was sufficiently exciting to sustain my very lifeforce. Call me a heathen but no matter how much the subject matter interests you, it's still a dissertation; it's still work.

Exactly so. The way she speaks about what she is doing reflects her complete arrogance - the fact she wants to map out where her work will fit into current and future scholarship. I can tell her pretty quickly - it won't. Nobody cares. This is an undergrad dissertation. Has she been watching "the theory of everything" and reckons that while Stephen Hawking waited until his PhD for his big breakthrough, that she can wash-up at undergraduate level and proceed straight to All Souls as a Fellow?

What stuns me about the utter waste of time that she has indulged in is the fact that she hasn't even got the primary texts in her grasp, she's hunting them down and bothering some poor sod in the admin office at Rugby school whose job it is to send out notes to parents requesting that they sew name labels onto Hugo's PE kit for next term.

You need to read her complete letters if you haven’t already! I’m obsessed.
Uh oh, don't let Ruby know that Sylvia Plath wrote letters or there's a real danger she'll go check her out and try to incorporate her letter-writing aesthetic into one of her videos somehow... claiming that Sylvia Plath has been her favourite author all along (genuinely!)... buying a tiny bell jar to put over her mug of frozen peas to keep the dead flies from getting to them... preparing a dramatic reading of Plath's life story, complete with well-practiced dramatic head-shaking and the Sugarplum Fairy music playing softly in the background...

The Jewish population of Yugoslavia when it entered the war in 1941 was somewhere around 1,850,000- don't quote me on this, I'm recalling from memory but it's roughly my research area. Given she's talking about Yugoslavia there, I think she's mistaken the Jewish population of Yugoslavia with the Jewish population of Europe.

Hi, long time reader first time poster 👋

I know I'm late to the party on the Holocaust Memorial page but I've just clicked on it for the first time and attempted to read one of the families stories, I assume Ruby wrote them but she writes like an 8 year old I'm genuinely flabbergasted, I've never read anything she's written before and I never will again. View attachment 1033941
View attachment 1033942

What are these banal repetitive sentences, has she really been in uni all this time, and written a fucking book, and still can't find a way to write properly? It's like she keeps forgetting that she's talking about Jewish people so she repeats it over and over just to remind herself. There's so many more words than is necessary here, she takes so long to say so little and does it like she's rattling off facts from a check list. "In fact though," is where I stopped reading, I'll just fucking Google the family and let them tell me their story.

Who are Ruby's teachers, I want to take them out for the drink they so desperately deserve.
I've got it! I knew the figure 1,850,000 rang a bell.

Does anyone have a link to Roobee's site so I can double check? But I'm almost positive this is what she's done.

She's plagiarised it from this: https://www.hmd.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/The-Veseli-Family.pdf

"In 1942 the Nazis held the Wansee Conference, at which they planned the logistics of what they called ‘The Final Solution’ – the genocide of Europe’s Jews. At this meeting, lists were drawn up of how many Jews lived in each country in Europe. 200 Jews were recorded in Albania – a tiny percentage of the total population of 1,850,000."

She's misunderstood and thought the total population of 1,850,000 refers to Europe's Jews. It doesn't. It refers to Albania's total population.

I won't recap this whole thing, since (as others have mentioned), it's one big, glorified and immensely stupid ad for the notebooks that she's struggling to sell, filled with nothing of value.

This isn't "what to do with the pages from old, partially-filled notebooks". This is "Strange and worrying ways to use a brand new notebook, presented by a high-level contender for the dumbest, most incompetent person on YouTube".

If you have notebooks that you don't use, the first tip should be: Don't buy more. If they're unused, maybe give them to a friend who will get more use out of them or donate them.

The second tip should be: If you want a planner and have spare notebooks, use them to make your own personalised planner. Don't buy a new planner, and under no circumstances whatsoever buy one from Pumpkin Productivity.

But Ruby's an idiot, and a greedy one at that, so she avoids suggesting either thing as it'll eat into her failing business.

A few of my favourite/noteworthy moments of idiocy:

Unvbbnd88.png

"Do work experience with an anti-bullying charity."

At this point, this goal is a lot like planning on applying to work for a bank a few months after you robbed it.

Ruby, you still owe substantial amounts of ad revenue to Unicef and Ditch the Label from your anti-bullying videos.

Every time you make a new, problematic video full of fabricated bullying stories and dangerously stupid advice, you do the anti-bullying cause more harm than good. They will not want you within 500 miles of them. And if you had an ounce of sense, you'd drop this entire "anti-bullying" charade and never speak of it again.

"Swim with sharks (sustainably)"

Ruby didn't seem to give a flying fuck about sharks until her sister bought her a shark-related gift and reminded her that she pretended to care about shark conservation once over a year ago.

She continues to use "sustainable/sustainably/sustainability" as a buzzword to show she's "KOIND AND CON-SHE-ANN-SHUSS" without understanding what the word means.

Ruby evidently plans to build her own boat from reclaimed driftwood and naturally fallen trees. She'll treat the wood with protective wood oil sealant (vegan-frAndly, OF COURSE). She will then row out to the nearest shark-infested waters VARRY slowly so as not to disrupt any marine life or underwater flora with the wake of the boat.

Once there, she will observe those majestic creatures in their natural habitat. To avoid disrupting their natural routines, Ruby will simply lean over the side of her hand-made boat, slowly dunk her head underwater and observe the sharks underwater through binoculars from a safe distance of 1,000 metres.

Unvbb9-88.png

Ruby draws a gift idea plan for an unnamed penpal(?)

You can tell this person is SYO, SYO important to Ruby, since Ruby has to remind herself of what their inside jokes are. Does it count as an "inside" joke if at least one of the two people in the friendship doesn't even know what it is?

This possibly-pretend person isn't Ruby, since her birthday isn't in November. But this narrows things down to two, equally deranged problems:

Ruby insists on only socialising with people exactly like her (or her idealised version of herself), hence her recent 'Apply to be my penpal!' form which was essentially tailored to find twelve-year-old girls who share all of Ruby's opinions and tastes.

Or perhaps this person is nothing like Ruby, in which case Ruby still assumes they should be like her and will like all of the things Ruby likes, whether they want to or not. These gift ideas are not personalised for the recipient, they are an ode to Ruby's self-proclaimed greatness, delivered to another person. On their birthday, this poor chump will get a letter all about Ruby, a list of Ruby's favourite recipes, and a selection of re-gifted stamps that Ruby got for free.

Ruby also continues her incredibly impolite practice of just telling people how much she spent on them. If this person is real and watches Ruby's videos, they now know what they'll be getting, how much will be spent and will already be disappointed by the self-involved lack of thought that went into this.

Un90808078.png

"STANDING in an empty field."

Ironically, Ruby is incapable of just standing in an empty field and has to twirl, skip and frolic through it like a hyperactive child.

"Sunrise walks."

This is how much Ruby "enjoys" her sunrise walks:

Untitledhyt502.jpg

"Late night chats with Blakeney."

The same Blakeney who seems like she has to force a smile whenever Ruby's around nowadays? Okay, Rubert.

"An essay when it suddenly 'clicks'."

I assume she means, "When you suddenly 'click' on Blakeney's Notion page/an email from your lecturer and it has great ideas to steal for your ASS-ay."

"Wild swimming."

Ruby won't even camp further than the backyard with her parents in attendance, she ain't going swimming in the wild. Presumably she means "wildly flailing your arms and legs in an uncoordinated seizure-like fashion while "swimming"", a lot like when she does "yoga".

"Dad's selflessness."

Ruby simply misspelt "settlements"; this refers to how happy Ruby will be if her dad is able to settle out-of-court on the day he's finally arrested for dodging his taxes.

Un9080807-098.png

Judging by these oddly specific phrases, Ruby's been watching her Tory idols on TV in parliamentary coverage.

She wants to study their terminology so that she can go full Rees-Mogg in lectures. She'll greet academic staff with a tip of the bonnet/top hat/boater and a "How do you do?" She will not greet other students in this fashion as they are beneath her.

Soon she'll be constantly interrupting the speaking lecturer with cries of "hear, hear!" to signify her agreement. She'll talk over the lecturer with a barely-intelligible jeering, chuntering rabble, peppered with shouts of "scurrilous!" if the lecturer suggests students don't waste time on unnecessary reading when they're falling worryingly behind on the required uni work.

Un9080890098.png

Ruby accidentally reveals who her dissertation supervisor is (spoilers: it's not the lecturer that she's been sucking up to and stalking) and lets slip that her first meeting with them was yesterday.

I can only imagine that this was the tutor's reaction to Ruby's complete lack of ideas or progress and her baffling plan to go on an academic mystery tour across the UK to find lost manuscripts:

big-storm-coming.gif

Ruby says, "Here's my mini "MAHRLSKIN" notebook which I ALWAYS keep in my pocket":

Screenshot_20220203-031729_YouTube.jpg

As she shows off a Moleskine notebook, she says it's VARRY handy to keep a pocket notebook for taking quick notes. At which point she instantly returns to talking about her own branded notebooks again.

This is a video that's supposed to be showing people what to do with spare notebooks, right? Does saying "I loyke to have a toiynee note--[awkward edit]--BUHwhich I can jot things in" help people with their problem of having too many notebooks they don't use? Nope.

Did she think people wouldn't be able to figure out that a pocket notebook can be kept in a pocket?

Why not, say, offer ideas for making smaller notebooks from larger ones? Fold the spare pages from an old notebook in half, staple them through the spine, and voila! A pocket notebook.

Instead, Ruby derails an already dumb-as-fuck, pointless video just to say "I have a pocket notebook and recommend that you get one, tyoo!" Her indescribable stupidity and incompetence knows no bounds.

Un9080899998.png

It's important that we keep a log of things we've learned, Ruby says, as it shows that we are growing as people.

Unfortunately, Ruby has yet to learn that taking money from charities, lying about it for months on end and still not returning the money is wrong.

She has yet to learn that the Holocaust is not something she should be trying to profit from every single year.

She has yet to learn that lying about quite literally everything to inflate her own ego or to make more money that she doesn't need doesn't make her better than anyone. Quite the opposite, in fact.

She has yet to learn that eating nothing all day is dangerously unhealthy and will not help her physically or mentally.

She has yet to learn that encouraging others not to eat, or making their day harder by knowingly throwing triggering content in their face makes you an intensely shitty person on every level.

She has yet to learn that glancing at every 40th page of a book does not mean you have read the whole book.

But Ruby has learned that spectacles were apparently uncommon in early modern England, so clearly she has the important personal growth areas covered.

Un9080899909-998.png

Ruby apparently just didn't notice that there was a disgusting smear of peanut butter all over her finger for god knows how long. It speaks to the state of squalor and poor personal hygiene that she's become completely familiar with that she didn't notice this until a later date. (See also: Her fingernails, where it looks like she's painted her nail polish on over a later of dirt and grime.)

Un9009-09-998.png

Ruby reveals some(/all?) of her dissertation notes. It's no surprise at this point, but she has no fucking idea what she's doing.

"Addressing the Carroll controversy" is noted, but hilariously, it looks like she's tried to erase it. Fitting, since that's Ruby's usual method of dealing with controversy.

Just why.

I'd imagine it might become an issue if they thought that someone was spending more time on their videos than on their studies, and their grades were suffering.
I think it’s clear to anyone with eyeballs and half a brain that Ruby isn’t spending very much time on her videos at all 😂

It's February, which means it's time for Ruby's 'January Reset Day', because she's far behind schedule with everything these days, like her dissertation, growing beyond the mental age of a child and returning the money she still owes to various charity organisations.

While the video title says this is a video about a reset day, Ruby opens the video by telling us she's "going to be filming a bit of a re-SAT". It's not quite clear what she'll be resitting, but if Ruby had her way, it'd be all of primary school.

Screenshot_20220207-183153_YouTube.jpg

Ruby wildly snatches at the air as she talks like she's hoping to catch a stray dissertation idea or two.

She says she wants to start every month doing a "SAT FEW THINGS" and get all of her "outstanding taaahsks done, ECKS-SAT-RAH" and "feel reFRASHED".

She dragged Ruby out to The Tiny Tasting Room earlier in the day, apparently, but evidently Blakeney's already sick of her, so there's no footage of this and Ruby's alone trying another new tea by herself in her room. "It just tastes like just a kind of standard tea." Riveting stuff, Rubes.

Screenshot_20220207-191412_YouTube.jpg

Ruby announces that she made a "really big parchase". She bought a tailcoat, so she has now achieved her apparent dream of looking like a shitty magician. She's only learned a couple of tricks so far, like making charity money disappear, and pulling dust bunnies out of her hat. And her pillow case. And generally every other area of her room.

She claims she was lucky to get it, because the saleswoman said they were about to sell out of this coat - they'd apparently already sold three that very day! This is the oldest car salesperson trick in the book. "Hmm, I wouldn't wait too long...This is the last one. I literally just has someone wanting to by this right before you came in..." Meanwhile there's a shitload more stock in the back.

Ruby fell for it hook, line and sinker, and now she's the owner of a coat that only really fits two occasions: If she wants to go to a fancy dress party as a malnourished butler, or if she gets a job performing sleight of hand at kids' birthday parties and the parents' first 217 choices of entertainer are all busy.

Screenshot_20220207-191717_YouTube.jpg

"I'm really intrigued by the story behind those tailcoats," she says.

She rambles about how unbelievable it is that three people all bought tailcoats on the same day. That's because it is unbelievable, you moron. You got bamboozled, Ruby. Straight-up swindled. Now you know how it feels to get scammed.

"I'm getting SYO distracted," she moans. Yes, because your mind has been completed ravaged by lack of nutrition.

Ruby, this is your latest reminder that the body requires nutrients for the brain to function.

First on Ruby’s "re-SAT" day agenda: Cleaning. Because it's been an entire month and she hasn't even pretended to clean anything.

"I dyon't want to do cleaning in a tailcoat," she says. Ruby, you don't want to do cleaning ever. That's why every living space you occupy looks like the cobwebbed attic of a haunted house.

Screenshot_20220207-192320_YouTube.jpg

Ruby gets those gifted ads in. This laundry detergent was gifted to her months ago and is still unopened. Either she's lying about using it or she just never does laundry. Either, or both, is entirely possible.

Screenshot_20220207-192939_YouTube.jpg

Ruby hurls all her laundry in together with pure disdain, seemingly pissed off that she's decided that she even has to pretend to clean things every month now. There's no sorting required, apparently. Whites. Colours. She just tosses all that shit in there together, angrily slamming drawers and doors before bashing at buttons like a dethawed caveman. Ruby previously claimed she "ALWAYS" handwashes her clothes. There is zero evidence of that here, and multiple full bags of laundry go in the machine.

After polishing her shoes and making an unconvincing attempt at reorganising her wardrobe in time-lapse footage, Ruby shoves in another blatant underclared snack bar ad:

Screenshot_20220207-193602_YouTube.jpg

Screenshot_20220207-193529_YouTube.jpg

It's that same 'nu+cao' brand that she did a similar undeclared ad for last video. She makes sure to rearrange the wrapper to get a full, clear view of the brand logo.

As mentioned last recap when she did this exact thing, this company suspiciously follows almost all of Sixteenth's talent on Instagram. It's gifted, Ruby just has a compulsive habit of lying about snack bars (and literally everything else) for some reason.

In one of the most laughable claims she's made in a while, Ruby defensively claims that the clutter in her room is subconsciously intentional, because she enjoys tidying and so letting mess build up means there'll be more of it to enjoy. This logic might be believable if Ruby ever fully cleaned anything and didn't just make a performative show of tidying up once a year.

Screenshot_20220207-194730_YouTube.jpg

Ruby reorganises her desk drawers and claims she's made sure that the things she uses most often, like her Pumpkin Productiviteee nyotebook and planner, are easily accessible.

Screenshot_20220207-194835_YouTube.jpg

Naturally, they look unused, since Ruby just takes it out every few days, fills in a random entry for the sake of an Instagram photo and then shoves it aside. She also claims that she uses both the academic and yearly planners concurrently, because that makes sense, is a wise and efficent use of time and is definitely believable.

Screenshot_20220208-060451_YouTube.jpg

Ruby says it's time to finish off her monthly memory video, which she says she wants to make each month to "reflackt" on the things that happened. Ruby already makes multiple vlogs per month to supposedly document the events of each month, so this seems like a redundant waste of time.

It's understandable that she wouldn't rely on her vlogs for an accurate depiction of her time though, since they're full of lies and fabricated events and composed of footage filmed across several months.

Screenshot_20220208-055837_YouTube.jpg

Speaking of fabricated events, Ruby says she woke up at 2am and worked on this video before going back to sleep, but says she won't make a habit of that. To prove it, she pointedly shows a clock ticking, but all this means it that it was filmed after dark and Ruby knows how to change the time on an analogue clock. This was probably filmed at like 7pm.

Back in whatever regular time she's pretending it's supposed to be, Ruby films herself chewing something like a grazing cow. So aesthetic!

Screenshot_20220208-055911_YouTube.jpg

She shoehorns yet another shot of an undeclared ad for a Perkier snack bar. Perkier gifted her boxes of these months ago:

Screenshot_20220208-062446_Chrome.jpg

You're supposed to declare past partnerships with brands, Ruby. You know this.

Screenshot_20220208-061358_Chrome.jpg

Ruby last declared she was giften Perkier bars less than 6 months ago. This is yet another undeclared ad.

Screenshot_20220208-063203_YouTube.jpg

Ruby lights a candle with her syooper sustainable gas lighter, only to immediately blow it out and go for a walk to get some "FRASH air".

Screenshot_20220208-063345_YouTube.jpg

And then Ruby didn't film anything, but she assures us that off-screen, many exciting things definitely actually happened: She cooked dinner and ate a substantial meal and had many fun chats with Blakeney.

She goes alone to a "gymnaaahstics claaaahss", but this is very clearly not a class at all and just a "do whatever you want while a member of staff observes to make sure you don't backflip through a window or land on your skull" regular free-play session.

Screenshot_20220208-063622_YouTube.jpg

Ruby has wrangled one of the staff members into acting as camera operator, but naturally won't be paying them any ad revenue for their work.

Screenshot_20220208-064057_YouTube.jpg

"Hyaah we are on the next day," Ruby says, and she continues tidying.

"Reset Day", Ruby. Singular. Why is there two days in this? Self-proclaimed Queen of Productivity and Organisation Ruby somehow couldn't even summon the motivation to do laundry and basic tidying in a single day.

She messily folds her laundry, not ironing any of it and shoves it wherever.

Screenshot_20220208-064450_YouTube.jpg

Ruby proudly points out that she has "lyots of teeeea" on her desk. This is not a good thing Ruby. This is a mold-generating mess.

It's time to "disinFACT" the desk, which Ruby claims she does "myaaaaybeeeee...twice a week?" A blatant lie. We know this never happens.

Screenshot_20220208-064824_YouTube.jpg

She gives the sink a half-assed clean, and you have to wonder if Ruby isn't just making this video because of people pointing out on here the absolutely disgusting state of her uni house in the most recent videos, which must be especially embarassing for Blakeney. For her part, Blakeney avoids appearing in Ruby's videos like the plague now.

After that, Ruby goes to "Saint Lyuukes" to "digitally decluttah" which apparently consists of "copeeeing nyotes into Nyotion".

Screenshot_20220208-064902_YouTube.jpg

Ruby ends the video by opening her laptop and showing the utterly repugnant layers of filth, grime and greasy fingerprints all over it. Reminder: This laptop has no touchscreen functionality. Why does she keep poking at ever single inch of the screen? And why hasn't she cleaned it since she bought it?

But remember: Ruby's germaphobic and loves for AVerything to be clean.

With a final ad for "Ponkin Productiviteee" in which Ruby begs you to buy some of that stationary that she can't seem to sell, that's it for yet another video full of lies and undeclared ads!

The fact that she says "manuscripts are so so important, they really help us to understand texts better". Tell us HOW they help us understand texts better, ELABORATE. This is why her essay grades are so baffling. Point evidence comment is the most basic practice but she never does it in her videos, her book reviews, how does she magically become less vague in her essays? 🧐

Also I beg for just one video where she doesn't pronounce tea as "tieeiyih".
