I’ve wondered if the seemingly constant teasing is part of the reason he was willing to leave, in addition to wanting to be closer to home. I just hope the guys don’t over do it and keep it friendly. It looks like they ALL get teasing from each other though so I’m probably reading too much into it.
I must admit he does sometimes look a little weary with it and it did cross my mind when the talk of leaving again was brought it. I think he can give as good as he gets though like the head tennis and with Jack after the parade. He is adorable and they should be worshipping him not manhandling him and putting him in bins!
I think looking at the rumoured wages it could be possibly that he his slightly underpaid?
Yeah, I don’t care what people said about their prior friendship at Monaco, Bernardo looked uncomfortable and annoyed at the teasing/bullying from that stupid mole Mendy. (To be clear, Mendy has creeped me out for years with his aggressive, weird energy, even before his current situation. I hated that he was on City.) I saw a vid of Mendy tying Bernardo’s shoes to the ceiling beam and laughing as Bernardo climbed up to retrieve them. Bernardo looked pissed off and embarrassed.
Anyways, you’re right, they should be worshipping Bernardo! There is no way they’d have won so many trophies without him.
