Holy sh!t. How it this legal???

She’s not raffling a house. She’s raffling the chance for one person to participate in The Game. This composes of your picking the TWO correct winning envelopes out of 250 envelopes. Only pick one of the winning envelopes? No deal. Pick two of the other 248 envelopes? No deal! So, doing the maths, you’ve probably got more chance of winning Tattslotto, once you factor in the odds of winning the chance to win the house. It’s SO misleading!
So the first lesson of Roxy’s Bootcamp? Read the small print suckers!

Disgusting on her behalf. These sorts of ‘raffles’ seem to be showing up a fair bit. People are better off buying the RSL or your town ones and raising money for a charity not this flog.

Is it legal because you are getting a sign on bonus. So you are buying a service (the bootcamp which is also a total waste of money) and the entry is a bonus.

I didn’t realise she had her own thread! I posted about it in the Aus influencers thread:

Roxy flogging her business course by promoting the chance to win a $10m house in a lotto style draw.

However, looking at the t&cs, you go in the draw to participate in a game of chance and I’m no expert but it sounds impossible to win! Should I be surprised? Probably not.

Anyway I guess your chances are no better in lotto but seems weird there is no mention of the outcome 2 prize.

  1. The Game will consist of two hundred and fifty envelopes as follows:
    1. two envelopes will contain promotional messages representing winning symbols; and
    2. the other two hundred and forty-eight envelopes will each contain promotional messages representing non-winning symbols.
  2. To play the Game, the Drawn Game Participant must choose two envelopes without touching, handling or interfering in any way with any of the other envelopes on display. If the Drawn Game Participant breaches this condition, they will be disqualified and the chance to play the Game (and win a prize) will be forfeited. If the Game is played online, the Promoter will provide instructions to the Drawn Game Participant on how the Game is to be played.
  3. The following will occur depending on the outcome of the Game:
    1. Outcome 1: If the Drawn Game Participant selects the two envelopes containing promotional messages representing the winning symbols, then, subject to verification by the judges, the Drawn Game Participant will win the Outcome 1 Prize, as outlined below.
    2. Outcome 2: If the Drawn Game Participant selects one envelope containing a promotional message representing one winning symbol and selects one envelope containing a promotional message representing one non-winning symbol OR if the Drawn Game Participant selects two envelopes containing a promotional message representing two non-winning symbols, then the Major Prize will not be given away as part of the Promotion and, subject to verification by the judges, the Drawn Game Participant will win the Outcome 2 Prize, as outlined above (and the Outcome 1 Prize will not be awarded and will be forfeited).

Hopefully some regulatory body is alerted to this level of false adverting and promotion!
So the runner up prizes are Roxy's old Birkin and Ollie's old Rolex claimed as a tax write off for this promo! dead!

People are so gullible thinking this is like a regulated draw or something..also who even owns the $10M house (someone said it was only valued at 3.3M as per Domain site)..the project development company?..how is Roxy "giving"it away then? I think she's seen Adrian Portellis success and is trying to emulate it but those assets are owned outright by himself/his company...

A real lesson looking behind the hype and the deadlines for the Australian media..
