I have an inkling she is making this more worse than it is trying to keep the look away from the bankruptcy, it’s AliBaba Chinese stuff which I think a lot of companies need to go through lying to customers. She hasnt looked properly in buying the cheap products no wonder it’s bankruptcy because people have caught on.. I thought her and Nick had split up, wonder what they are doing for money with a big house with that??

😂 Her cage has been rattled alrite!
It really makes me laugh how these instahuns refer to it as a job and saying that annual leave from a full time job is gifted?! WTAF 😳 Trying to make people feel sorry for her that she never gets a day off, that’s your choice. To use your life, family and kids to sell products, nobody is making you do it.

I see she has a massive stock sale on but I haven’t watched her stories in ages - was she on talking about putting on a sale or what? Like has she announced this is a clearance sale? I thought once your company was dissolved you couldn’t do any trade under that name

I really feel for Roisin / anyone getting this news’ & dealing with this and it’s great to spread awareness..
But Roisin needs to spread awareness whilst realising this isn’t a journey that only she has been on!! It’s crazy to me…
I feel like some of the things she says are really insensitive to other people’s diagnosis & journeys with cancer

She has really riled me up with her latest story - about how long her diagnosis took!

Cry me a bleeping river!

These things don’t just happen overnight like you see in Grays Anatomy.

You’re in a queue in order of priority, and now you are being treated.

Everyone has a right to access NHS care but Jesus if you thought it too slow why not go private get your magic instant answers!

My best friends aunt thought she had a bad tooth infection - she waited 6 months to find out that it was actually jaw neck and throat cancer!
She didn’t even see another 4 months after those results because it had progressed.

Family members have waited years on operations always getting pushed down the queue because quite rightly cancer patients take priority for surgical procedures due to the potential to be life threatening.

But these people on lists that are ever changing, whilst not life threatening, have suffered severe mental and physical impacts of conditions needed operated on whilst waiting years.

December was a huge bottleneck for the testing services across Northern Ireland because of the southern trust & the smear test issues.
But I guess these instahuns are so far removed from everyday life they wouldn’t even have heard of that.

I agree with you Justfortittle. Yes it’s an agonising wait for any hospital results but we are very lucky to have free healthcare.

I was diagnosed around the same time as her for skin cancer. Unfortunately mine is the more serious strand of cancer than hers, mine is melanoma which will have been red flagged and given a higher priority than hers because of what they suspected mine was and the implications and seriousness of it. Hers is a very common very treatable and non life threatening cancer which is something she will have been told at the outset when they suspected it was BCC and she will have been told not to worry.

Cancer results and treatment are prioritised depending on the seriousness of them. if they thought hers was life threatening or something more suspect than BCC etc they would have got them really urgent and she would have been told all of that and reassured lots by the Macmillian nurse and I know this cos I’ve been through a cancer diagnosis at the same time as her. Her appts would have been to check in with how she was and to check her body for signs of anything else which she should be grateful she was getting.

i do think she is doing lots of good for the awareness of skin cancer BUT i also think there is some drama creation here from her and attention seeking which she will in turn try to monetise as that’s what she does I don’t care if others disagree but mark my words she will spoon this to make money. She can raise awareness without all the rit that goes with it for these insta huns.

Sending you lots of healing hugs @sunshinex80. Hope you are keeping as well as possible and getting the help & support you need and deserve.

This one is a complete drama llama!

Like you say good to spread awareness but do it the right way!

I honestly think I'd lose my mind if she tries to make money from this,
I do think she likes to big things up, as much as I feel for her, she is no more special than anyone else living with cancer, I haven't read the story, but if she if moaning about having to wait, while there is others worse off like yourself, she would seriously need to give her head a shake, I hope you are getting the help and care you need and deserve

She’s turned into a bigger dose than she used to be and that’s saying something

I am doing great thanks and just trying to stay positive and get on with life, this was a wee bump in the road 😊

her whole life centres around the drama she likes to create.

Sure she shaved her head and had us all wondering if something was wrong - attention seeking

all the drama and stories and tears around closing the shop to make us all think something horrendous was happening rather than her just messing up taxes and being landed with a tax bill cos she spent the money instead

and probably others I’ve forgot about too

The complaint about the wait highlights what it’s like for many of us using the NHS. If I remember rightly she paid for private scans ect when pregnant so why could she not do the same regarding the BCC testing and results. Perhaps she was gifted those though.

I was in a similar position during covid, red flagged for a year when the target was four weeks. I have private insurance but they couldn’t cover me as I’d previously had cancerous cells removed. Got a call one day from the Trust to say they legally had to do the procedure to remove the abnormal cells for testing as I’d been on the list too long, luckily all came back negative twelve weeks later.

If she’d worded it in a way that acknowledged the underfunding in NI or the avoidance of our politicians regarding the transformation needed in our healthcare sector I’d have respected her position more. She’s promoting her story but takes no time to reflect on the nuances that influence our experiences of the NI healthcare system.

I’ll give her kudos though as I’ve friends who would be pre holiday sunbed users who’ve all remarked on her story as influencing them to stop.
