Right abdo pain, 1 month after Mirena

Hey guys,

I’ve always had pain on my right hand side, radiating down my right thigh when on my period.

Anyway, I got the Mirena a month ago and have had on and off pain since, even when I’m not bleeding.

But this period, and now even though I’m not bleeding much and have taken naproxen, I’ve got really sharp pain half way between my last rib and my hip on the right hand side, made worse by putting pressure on it. I have no other symptoms, no sickness or nausea, no weight loss.

Is it something I should worry about or am I being a hypochondriac?

I would speak to your gp/nurse and get it checked out incase the coil isn't in the right position.

Thanks guys, it seems to have eased off but I will get checked out when I can get an appointment!
