She does not look well. Surely the instalikes just validate her illness even more? I hope she is supported offline but who knows.

I wonder how long she’s been having a nanny 2 days a week? Nothing wrong with that of course but she’s always saying how she’s squeezing things in while Zachary naps and how’s she’s juggling everything all the time but actually she has a nanny!
Probably since the beginning, she’s probably got a Norland nanny who does overnights aswell!
I’m going to struggle to make my point coherently but here we go

Rhi sits in a space of being an influencer, your friend who is a mum and just like you but on the internet, someone who frequently has sponsored content and makes recommendations to her followers on products

Except she’s different to other influencers as she is ALSO a nutritionist with a paid private clientele who she treats for serious things like eating disorders, health conditions, weight loss etc.

Therefore the issue I have with her is that by having an Instagram profile that covers the personal and professional parts of her life she is blurring the lines between the two. The average woman following her because of Zachary is being bombarded with posts about in depth studies of specific nutrients or diets, weight management, why we should all eat more almonds etc. No average person (eg someone not actively managing their diet with the help of a nutritionist) needs to think about these things that much, just eat a balanced diet and exercise sometimes and you’ll be fine! And she’s therefore normalising having a scientific and diet based relationship with food, not everything you eat is going to be nutritionally optimum but that’s ok

TLDR - by combining her nutritionist posts with her personal ones she’s exposing potentially vulnerable followers to content that could cause them to overthink their relationship with food and move it into a dangerous place

Hope all that made sense!
Oh my god. Thank you for this! Genuinely, yes I had not even thought about it this way. She does totally make me overthink my diet and I had never even thought of it in that way!

On her latest stories, out for walk with newborn....essential smoothie in one hand and breastfeeding baby in other! ( with boob hanging out)
I breastfed all 3 of my children ( for a total of 5 years between them) and not once did I feel the need to proclaim to the world that I could breastfeed while walking down the street....what an attention seeker.
its such a bizarre video - I think because her boobs look so pneumatic! (Don’t think it’s pregnancy related as they always have done).

Her response to a follower asking how she fits it all in was really disingenuous as she literally never mentions she has a husband. Even if he’s stuck in an office working long hours he will be doing some childcare, or helping with the house surely? I’m in the same position as her though I’m on mat leave and even though my husband is working from home there are days when between 8-6pm we don’t even see each other. But he’s still able to make dinner or put a load of laundry on. And at the weekends he helps with childcare as he wants to spend time with his baby. Rhi is making it sound like she’s doing absolutely everything.
Or maybe he genuinely contributes nothing??
The fact she almost never mentions the hubby is seriously WEIRD. Fair enough if he doesn’t want to be on social media but acknowledging you have a husband who is the father of your child is hardly invading his privacy.

You’ve gotta be kidding me that she’s filmed herself doing yoga in her bra... she’s only done this to show off her flat stomach because her bellend pal Lucy Meck has started doing this.

Tbh all the brands who gift her stuff which she hasn’t declared or declares really sneakily should just stop gifting her. They aren’t getting anything out of it as she isn’t promoting their brand at all and other brands should take note that she isn’t a good person to gift to. See how she likes paying for everything like us normal people have to!

when I had my 3 children, ( many moons ago). I had huge maternity pads as well as bulky breast pads as I leaked continuously whilst breastfeeding ( could have fed the whole village and needed bras made by Harland and Wolff!)
there's no way I'd have photographed myself....I was just relieved that both I and my daughter had survived a traumatic delivery ...I managed to breastfeed all 3 of mine for a total of 5 years without social media ( had an emergency caesarean, planned CS and VBAC)....detest all these instagrammers/ Instamums thinking they've invented childbirth and breastfeeding
Totally off topic but how did you feel breastfeeding your second? I tried with the first and it didn’t go great and I’m due my second but already feel guilty at the thought of having to spend so much time feeding the baby that my first born gets neglected! Not sure how to navigate this!
Rhiannon is definitely trying to strike a balance between being something to aspire to whilst being relatable at the same time. She comes across as neither to me. Just a fake, game hungry desperado who is surely in the privileged position of taking some time off for maternity leave. If she was so good at her job she wouldn’t need to worry about taking time away but she is so terrified of being irrelevant that she will forego this previous time with her baby.

Horrified by her shoulder bones in today's stories. She is not nourishing herself, how she can position herself as an expert in nutrition when she's clearly not following her own advice is crazy.
I’ve just seen her stories. I am truly shocked at how skinny she looks. Something cannot be right with her and her relationship with food.

She has admitted to it previously. I remember she said it when I followed her a few years ago. Didn’t see the post earlier.

I don’t agree with shaming her for going back to work. I do think it was irresponsible to leave Z with Chessie in the middle of lockdown though!

It feels bad to say I don’t believe her, but I agree with all of you. Post partum psychosis is a major psychiatric condition that requires emergency treatment. She was on Instagram almost constantly post the birth, making it very unlikely she fitted having this behind the scenes.

The sleep deprivation after birth is extreme, it made me feel sick and hallucinate. But that isn’t psychosis - it goes away as soon as you are able to sleep for longer periods at a time (three hours of sleep has never felt so good!)

She is irresponsible to use the language of a serious condition for what she went through.

Totally agree. Plus post partum psychosis rarely just goes away - it can take weeks or even months of intensive treatment and therapy. It is a seriously horrible condition that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

As someone else said, she planned a home birth or minimal interventions and the fact she had to have interventions meant she couldn’t control it and we all know she is a control freak.

Being a new mother is HARD especially during lockdown. Having a new life that is solely dependent on you is tough. Your whole life is turned upside down and suddenly you are on someone else’s ‘schedule’ if you can even call it that. I actually admire her posts where she says it’s tough (albeit they are few and far between). But again she is being irresponsible bandying around terms and misinformation. It’s such a shame there is no way to regulate this sort of behaviour from influencers.

Her podcast is called food for thought, why does she feel the need to discuss her birth story on it?! So cringey,is nothing sacred ffs
Such a narcissist 😂 could go on any of those mummy podcasts and chat about it instead but Shes choosing to do it on her own podcast which is meant to be about nutrition?!
Lol sorry what Is she thinking.

Why does she always film her workouts at such stupid angles? Couldn’t possibly be to make sure she gets her bum and perfectly flat stomach in the shot could it?!

Chessie?
Eurgh!
Alice! Even more eurgh. Actually just not a nice person. Sadly I’ve met her, a few times. But true they never speak of each other. Maybe they’ve both come to realise that the mix of them both is so narcissistic and moany and over privileged that the world might actually explode.

It’s not even body shaming. She looks gaunt and aged beyond her time and just not good unfortunately. I wouldn’t take advice from her about anything health. At all.
I thought the exact same thing when I saw that post! And have you seen her recent post too…She honestly looks so unwell

Urgh so annoying. I bf both my children to 9m and in many ways it wasn’t hard at all (I must admit FF is easier in terms of sharing the load with your partner, feeding them full feeds regularly rather than constant snacking) but it’s hardly an accomplishment.
It’s just feeding, and many women don’t struggle. They’re not better than the ones who do, they’re just lucky.
