Apparently he died of pneumonia complications (according to the BBC). Sadly not unusual for people to fall into ill health quickly after their spouse dies.Shocked me too. Last watched him in MotherlandWas I bad thinking it was suicide,after losing his partner?

So shocked about Anthony Head. Saw him in Gloucester services a couple of years ago. He bumped into me and said sorry. When I saw it was him I said oh that’s ok. He was so nice with everyone. RIP

I feel Anthony Head missed his wife so much and he is reunited with her now.

I am beyond heartbroken
I've literally just finished rewatching the entire series of Merlin. He was fabulous in that too. He was great in everything.

Anthony was the better singer.
He did musical theatre too. His brother is Murray Head of 'One Night In Bangkok' fame.
I am so sad and angry about this! Such a massive shame. Those poor girls too losing their parents so close together.
One of those great actors who means different things to different generations, as he never stopped doing brilliant work. Went out with a fantastic performance as a villain in Ted Lasso.
