My favourite role of hers was Delia Deetz in Beetlejuice. Very shocked to hear this news 😢

Genuinely so upset about Catherine O'Hara, she's been a staple in my entertainment viewing since childhood.

Schitt's Creek is one of my favourite shows ever, and I have always loved og Home Alone and Beetlejuice.

RIP to a true great. :(

Well this is a shocker. I grew-up watching Catherine O'Hara on SCTV with a bunch of other legendary Canadian comedians. It was so great to see her shine in Schitt's Creek and expose more people to her talent. R.I.P. 🌹

So did I. I had to double check it wasn't fake news. I'm really saddened by this. She was a great actress, seemed to be a lovely person, and seemed to have a real zest for life. RIP Catherine ❤

According to reports, Catherine found out in 2021, she had a rare heart condition called cardiac inversus where the organs in your chest are on the wrong side of the body. 1 in every 10,000 people get it and for most, they can live a normal life with Enrique Iglesias and Donny Osmond being others who have it.

According to a friend, paramedics were called to the house in the early hours of Friday and she was deemed to be in a serious condition and rushed to hospital where she later passed.

I remember seeing Catherine O'Hara in a strange, old indie film a while ago and I was right. She was in Martin Scorsese's After Hours. I recommend it if you are into slightly odd films.

RIP John Virgo. :(

I remember him as a fixture on Jim Davidson's Big Break, which for some reason I used to watch as a kid despite having no genuine interest in snooker other than my grandad liking/playing for fun at pubs.

Same here. Everytime it was on, my grandad would watch snooker and it bored the bits off of me. Yet as soon as the theme came on for BB, I was sat in cross legged in front of the TV watching it. John was so deadpan and in my opinion a lot more funny than Jim...in fact most of the players who you assumed were boring were actually funny...well apart from Stephen Hendry who was and continues to be a bell end.
