It’s such sad news about Diane Keaton. She’s the star of so many of my favourite films. First Wives Club was on last weekend and I was reminded of just how much I adore that final scene where they perform You Don’t Own Me.

Oh that's sad about Diane Keaton. In my head she was a lot younger. Always felt like she was very much her own person, and lived life on her own terms. Sad for her children who are still in their 20s.
i was going to say that i was sure she had quite young children (i know she adopted them quite late in life) :(

this one has shocked me; she was always so full of life in interviews and 79 really isn’t that old these days.

Relief for the victims 👍🏻 At least he’ll never be free to indulge in his sick/ twisted fantasies again .

Agree with above comments re Diane Keaton. She still appeared very active, still working, etc, so this one caught me by surprise.

For his ex as well. She spent years putting up with the fans he still has (as recent as a few years back, there were stories of 'younger' women still trying to visit with him) trolling her as well as the police who said she was lying when she initially told them because Watkins claimed she was a jealous ex. If they had listened and actually investigated, then some little ones would have been saved.

She said she was shocked when she heard but is glad because for years, she was worried he would get out and try and get revenge.

I will never ever understand how those 2 mothers offered their babies up to Ian Watkins to grape them.
There are some very sick people in our world!

Anyone else feel like being slapped in the face again with the harsh truth of life being so incredibly short? I know she's in the same age group as my parents and almost 80 but I just can't get that to sink in that this was to be expected at her age. I mean, she never really seemed that old, despite the white hair in recent years. I am suddenly realising again that my parents' generation are on their way out and a bunch of people my age are also leaving us. WTH happened?! I swear I feel the same as I did twenty years ago.

There's been reports from her composer friend (I forget the name) that Diane had lost a huge amount of weight recently. She was last seen in public about a year ago. Still, she had three films in the works which now probably will be cast again or scrapped. Apparently she had suffered from skin cancer and bulimia decades ago but not sure if that has anything to do with her health in the past few years.

I dread the coming years when all the actors and actresses we've come to know and love will pass away and we're stuck with the annoying lot of faces I don't care to go see in a theatre. I mean sure, there are some exceptions of course in the younger generations but the real talents seem to leave us early (looking at you Heath Ledger).

I had someone mention on the radio the other day that they downloaded a death clock. Haha, I thought wtf is that! Apparently it's a timer that counts down the days until death given the average age of a person. A bit grim, but I guess it's a piece of reality that death waits for nobody. We all think we are doing the right thing by staying as healthy as possible from diet to exercise, lessening stress, etc, but anyone can fall deathly ill at any given time regardless. Just got to enjoy the little moments where and when you can. Even the rich and famous are not immune to death or falling ill. Best thing I can suggest is definitely get regular health check ups like blood pressure checks, blood tests, etc.

Rest in peace D’Angelo, thinking of his loved ones.
It’s so shocking and sad. He was a big part of the neo-soul sound, it’s such a beautiful genre. He was so so talented.

This is extra sad because he had a son with Angie Stone, so sadly he‘s lost both parents this year. There are no words 💔

Gutted about this one. Huge Kiss fan, one of the first ‘heavier’ bands I got into as a young girl.

Read that he had a fall last month and suffered a brain injury and has been on life support. Truly sad for his family and friends to lose him in such a sudden way.

Diane Keaton's cause of death was pneumonia. Ricky Hatton took his own life :(

Sam Rivers (Limp Bizkit) bass player has just died aged 48.

A truly horrible year to be a rock/metal lover, we’ve lost some greats this year 💔

Ironically me and my boyfriend were discussing who could headline download and we said LB. Opened the download subreddit to see who’s been chatted about on there and it was the first thing we saw. Absolutely gutted about this one.
