My recurring theme is toilets and bathrooms. Trying to find them, being unable to find them, suddenly finding hundreds of them, but they're all dirty, or the cubicle walls have a hole in them, or people are watching, or it's high up on a stage. so vivid and real!
I have the toilet dream too!!
I have a few recurring dreams...one since i was a child of being myself but in a different world/universe. I love it when I get that dream 🤗
I have another freaky weird one that happens when I'm stressed that's not so nice.

I’ve had vivid dreams since I was a teenager but a couple years back they started taking on a different feel. Dream bible dot com is an interesting resource for investigating dreams. I look up what I think are the most salient elements and somehow there always seem to be an entry.

My dreams leave me so tired, I have got to the point where I pray every night that I won’t have any and I try to meditate to clear my mind. Doesn’t help lol. If anyone has suggestions, please tag me!

My recurring dream is my teeth falling out. Apparently it’s linked to anxiety or stress over money. I actually think it’s anxiety and worry over losing my teeth 😄
I used to have this dream all the time when I was younger and then it suddenly stopped! Although I feel I am way more anxious then I was back then 🤷‍♀️

This one was very weird: several years ago I had a recurring dream in which I was in a guy's apartment with him and he started trying to strangle me. I grabbed a heavy standing lamp and beat him to death with it. Then I washed off the blood in his bathroom and went down a staircase at the back of the building out onto the street where a train station was opposite. In this dream I could always hear a radio playing the same band, but a different song each time.

This continued over months until one day I happened to be out with my aunt and we went into an electrical store where I saw a lamp just like the one in my dream. I have never had it again since

When I was young maybe from about 7 to 12 I had this dream where I was inside an old fashioned house with a small room inside with a long window. I would look out this window and it would be dark and I could see people with knives coming towards the house, I went outside nd they weren't there, went back in and could see them through the glass again. I repeated this then finally I smash the glass and they got me grabbing through the window. I am 42 and can still see the room exactly as it was in my dream. I never understood why I smashed the glass though? It finally stopped when I started growing up.

Are all your dreams generally pleasant though? Mine always are, they're mostly quite mundane (going to work, going shopping etc!) but never scary or upsetting. Very occasionally I dream about my parents (who died over 20 years ago when I was in my early 20s) and that's sad, but I never have scary dreams. My partner however either doesn't dream about anything (most of the time) or has terrifying ones about being chased or stabbed or set on fire
My dreams, recurring aside are mainly pleasant little mini movies. I did, however, recently dream that one of my arms had been amputated from the elbow down. First thing I did on waking was check I had both hands!
