I imagine he has pleaded not guilty & will be going for trial, if this is the case the judge or bench of magistrates won’t have heard any evidence yet just a summary of the case.
I badly feel for her though as that 1 minute of audio sounded horrific & she said she has 7 minutes of it. I hope she gets the justice that she deserves & he gets locked up.
I’m not sure posting all the evidence across social media BEFORE any legal Trial will do her case any favours at all.
She is at risk of jeopardising her case as it could sway a judge/jury/magistrate before the case gets to court. I’m sure the defence could use it as a reason to get the rum bag off but it’s understandable she’s angry & wants to get her side across to all those that doubted her
The defence will absolutely use it! I had similar happen to me, my perpetrators mum spent the 3 years I waited for trial stalking all of my socials down to my tiktok reposts to try & damage the case. My heart genuinely breaks for her & I understand why she’s doing what she’s doing -I’ve never really been a fan of hers, still aren’t but I have so much respect for her speaking out on it. I really do hope her posts don’t affect the outcome

I know this is an absolutely terrible thing to say, but honestly? If I was in her position I would use my money and clout to hound the fucker til his dying day.

I haven't listened to what she's posted and don't want to, but could they look at her evidence of the voice recording and say it's faked/or as someone else said, consensual as nothing can be seen along with it?
Especially as I know from my own experience, they will find any way they can to disregard evidence so it cannot be used

Yes I think so - I don’t think an audio clip that could be faked or could be anyone proves it’s him. I am not saying Rebecca is lying I’m saying it can’t be proven in a Court of Law to be him two very different things. I’ve worked in Law firms for 20 odd years - it’s not a case of we don’t believe you more of a we don’t have solid concrete proof it is you - it’s a really difficult situation. Women need to be protected from rapists and men need to be protected from false allegations I have a foot in both camps - I am not saying Rebecca is alleging false lies
I’m confused why she is saying she has been denied justice. She has a court date yes it’s in 2027 not great but the courts have huge backlogs. She unlike loads of others at least will get her case heard in court.
This is so normal for cases like hers, I wouldn’t be surprised if it got pushed back between now & then again too. She also needs to remember that although she has a date, trial is not 100% guaranteed to start on that date. She’s been extremely lucky to get a charge so quickly
