I am in the same boat right now. I've been in this job just over two weeks and really not enjoying it. I interviewed for another new role last week and this morning I got the job offer to start in January. I'm definitely accepting it as it sounds like a (hopefully) better job for me.

As I'm still within my probationary period, I need to give just one week notice. Feel terrible as they've dedicated so much time in showing me the ropes, plus it's a bad time of year for them to be trying to find a replacement for me. I also hate the awkward convo of handing my notice in!!!

Eeek! Even though it's only via teams, I'm dreading the conversation!!!

Sounds like the new job offer is what you want, for more money and what you originally applied for! Sounds great!

Do what’s right for you! Accept the job, hand your notice in this afternoon and celebrate this weekend, congratulations! 🎉
