I don’t watch it but pleased to read more people are talking about their HIV status; it’s very brave as regrettably there is still so much stigma and incorrect information out there about the virus. Hopefully the public will soon realise HIV is just a long term condition, which you live with (and can live very well) you don’t die from it. Tbh nowadays I would fear type 2 diabetes much more than I would HIV. All that being said I still hope we can achieve the aim of zero new HIV transmissions in the UK by 2030, which seems likely especially as PREP is now more widely available (although sadly still not to everyone) and if you’re HIV+ and on effective medication ,making the virus undetectable, you then can’t transmit the virus
